Good morning everybody! :D

It's 39*, and the wind and rain seem to have finally stopped - for now.

Have a great day, and enjoy your coffee! :D

18* at 5:50 AM. I think I just changed my mind about going squirrel hunting this morning. I am not in to sitting in the woods at that temperature any more. Maybe go out after the temp comes up a bit. Turkey season opens again for three days starting tomorrow and the temps look better for a few days.

Below freezing here, but it stopped snowing. Everyone is getting dug out. I spoke to a fellow at work who got four feet of lake effect snow. I spoke to a plow operator who had been out 24 straight hours. He was headed for sleep before he became dangerous.
I'll bet that's a hard life. It sure is hard on the trucks.

Enjoy your day all.

That lake effect snow must really be something else. One of the largest snowstorms that I have been envolved with was the 30" storm that we had last winter. It was 19* out back when I got up at 6:30 this morning but the wind, thankfully, has died down.

All of this snow talk is making me cold....

Chilly this morning in Southern California but should reach 70 at some point today. Looks like a rainy weekend ahead. Looking forward to time off!

We are getting snow in the mountains. By January they should have at least six feet on the ground.

Good morning everybody! :D

It's a ffffffreezing 30* here this morning. It's still too dark to see what else is happening, but it's a good reason to have an extra cuppa, I think! I hope you all enjoy yours. ;)

35* at 6:35 AM. I am having a Henry mug full of coffee and headed to the woods for a few hours and then come back home and help my wife get things ready for the family members coming for dinner. Turkey season is back in here in PA. for three days and maybe I will get lucky on one of the days. Have a great holiday and be safe. :)

Very nice day in the mid 70s with blue skies and sunshine.

Coffee is down and it's time for some wine to elevate thanksgiving.

Snow flurries here. Not much snow for late November though. Off to Ft Macleod Alberta this weekend for the annual Santa Claus parade. Line up on the street, drink some hot coffee, and get into the spirit!

Good morning everybody! :D

It's a bright but very chilly 28*, and the wind chill is making it feel even colder. I think it's safe to say that summer is over.

Enjoy your morning brew. ;)

I agree Les, summer and Fall are done I think. It's mid thirties and will be mid forties today. Hopefully lots of snow will go away today.

Coffee and then work.

I hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy your morning.

Morning everyone, having one cup of Rio Grande Dark Roast from the Keurig this morning. Rather overcast and 42* here this morning. I'll get my gear ready today and head for the mountains tomorrow until Tuesday afternoon. See if there are any legal buck running around Monday morning. It's always nice to see old friends that I only see once a year. I may not make it up the mountain in one complete hike since age has sort of caught up with me but may just stay down by a stream that runs along the swamp until about 10:00 AM and then head up the mountain. Lots of good memories there since 1969. I have taken around 34 deer in that corner of the woods and missed my share too. I have actually lost count. But the herd has deminished through the years and the herds of deer are just not there anymore. That's ok, I just like to be there. One day, in the not too distant future, I may just take that folding chair that is in the garage and sit along a tree line overlooking a field not too far from the barn. I have built three tree stands there in those woods through the years, but they are fairly well rotted now. Guess I will take the .30-06 and the .44 magnum. The weather is to be good for Monday but turning to rain by Tuesday according to the last report that I read. This guy doesn't hunt in the rain anymore. Just to be there is still fun.Image

I wish we had a broken bulb counter to see who could break the most.

Thanksgiving Day was quite mild in northern MO...around 50* during part of afternoon. Through this weekend and into next week, here in KCMO predicted to be in upper 50s with a cooling to 40s later in week. Little rain. Looks like we'll enter December with no snow from this month.

......But it's coming, I'm sure!
