Just now....taken from our deck. Looking south to Montana. That pot of gold is likely across the border so I would have to pay duty on it.

sunset in the NC mountains ....its already dark in the valley while the colors of sunset can be seen above the "high tops"

Beautiful photo, Jim. That is a really 8-) sunset shot...I've always enjoyed the dark tree and/or bush silhouettes the waning light of day brings about. Almost a black etching canvas to my view. Also, I'm astonished at how quickly it changes and disappears! Makes photos like this one even more special. :)

Both of those pictures are great. Maybe next week I might be able to get one in the rockies. Headed for Creede Colorado this Saturday with the 5th wheel for the wifes birthday. Im looking forward to it.
