Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Wow! Today was a doozie. I've been running my son around Houston all day. He got his foot ran over by a motorized forklift at work last night. It didn't hurt him too bad because they have to wear steel toed workbooks. (He works for Pepsico.) The floor manager sent him home two hours early and told him not to come back to work until he saw the company PA. I shuttled him over to Pasadena from Sugar Land to see the PA this morning and, with our luck, she was in a meeting. The next thing is she went to lunch AFTER the meeting with him in waiting in her office. Finally, after about two and a half hours she comes back and says it's okay to come back to work IF he gets his foot x-rayed and everything turns out okay. So, now we're back on the road to SE Houston to have his foot x-rayed at the location the PA sent him. Now we wait another hour and a half to get that done. We finally got home after the 45 minute drive across town on the toll way. I'm glad I didn't have much to do today! Oh, breakfast was on the road. I had a banana, apple, and coffee. We skipped lunch and ate after we got home so I probably won't be too hungry ad dinner time. If I were younger, I might participate in some good ole' fashioned......we'll here's a link to a video:

Still dark outside at 5:45, but looks like a great day! Hopefully the last full day on a customers 1961 Airstream Bambi. It’s been a long frustrating project for such a small trailer. It’s time for it to go home….

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning. It’s 10F with a 15 mph wind making it sub-zero. It rained yesterday and then snowed a couple inches last night. I’m betting the roads are going to be glare ice under the snow.
With 42F temperatures yesterday the snow melted back at least a foot. We still have three feet on the ground but things like my targets are starting to appear again.

26 heading to 50 ish with a sunny day forecast. But right now there’s a thin cloud layer defusing the sun somewhat. First day in the 50’s if we get there.
Happy St. Patricks Day and the wearin’ of the green all.
Once it warms up a bit I’ll be heading to the range for some load work and then home for the Gonzaga March Madness game vs Grand Canyon University who hails from Phoenix. Go Zags.

You know it. Probably not until Saturday afternoon as I have the Gonzaga game when I get home and in the morning we’re going to a small community gunshow with son, DIL, and her folks who are visiting from Arizona.Vaquero wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:20 amEnjoy the range trip Hatch.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:16 am26 heading to 50 ish with a sunny day forecast. Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 53° degrees earlier and now it's down to 45°. I've got to take the little beagle back to the vet today. She had a UIT a couple of weeks ago and after a few days off antibiotics it's returned. I don't know if she has a kidney stone or something else going on. I'm sure the vet will want her to get a MRI. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Only 50's here today and windy again. This wind is really making it tough on the offshore gas wells as high seas have shut down the gas to the local areas. Not sure what that will do for restaurants in town. Havent heard if they are shut down yet.
