Put together some Kitty-Kat sneeze 38 Spl. loads to test in my S&W 19 with 2" barrel. I loaded a 158 gr. RNFP Missouri bullet over 3.5 gr of good ole Hodgdon Universal. I'm looking for a low recoil load that's fun to shoot in that model 19. I shot a lot of 147 gr wadcutters with 2.7 gr. of Bullseye from that gun, but I'm out of those bullets and powder.

Classic!

I have a few hundred 38’s loaded with a plated bullet to a light velocity. Like you, I use them in a M/19 I inherited from my dad. I used to describe them as a popcorn fart but I like your description better! Best to not run too many full power 357’s thru those old K frames.

Well some of y'all know about the new Cowboy, well per Al. I've loaded 2 different bullets, a 240 gr and a 243 gr over 26.0 grs of Rel 7, 5 each.
Was going to try them yesterday off the deck, but the daughter and family came back and the little one was sleeping so it will have to wait.

Waiting to get to the range. Weather has been either real hot or rainy and cold.

Meanwhile, I disassembled 80 rounds of .308 Win. that I was given when a friend of a friend passed away. All loads were the same and made in 2008. He had a good labeled description on each 20 round case. I disassembled two rounds and found they had accurate info on bullet weight, powder charge, all dimensions. I shot three groups of three and they didn't group as well as I would like. So although loaded in 2008, they fired fine. I decided to disassemble them all. I can reload with my own load and have better groups.
Nice windfall. All bullets were 150 gr. Nosler BTs. Of course I left the cases primed and put the RL15 that was in them in a separate air tight container and labelled as coming from that group of rounds. After dissy, the case necks were still tight, so I don't think I'll need to resize the necks.

Just came up from downstairs loaded 10 41 mag with 8gr of Universal and 10 with 10.6 of HS-6. Both loads are under the xtreme 210gr flat point. Might take a ride out to the grasslands on Saturday.

Hows the weather been Big Al? We've been hitting 111 for the past three days, too hot to set up the range.

RnG hot here today and tomorrow but Saturday they are calling for the mid 80's. So if I go early I can get a few hours in before that sweat in the eyes routine.
