A warm day ahead of us. It's 68° and headed towards 80° today. Tomorrow is the predicted cold ((cool) front and stormy weather. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning.

^^^^^ Hey Jim, looks like a dry rain falling.

33 heading to 36 and overcast. Today is supposed to be dry with rain/wet snow coming in overnight. Not expecting any accumulation to speak of. Mrs. Hatchdog ordered a Ring camera/flood light and a separate camera which arrived yesterday. So you know how my day was spent. The flood light replaced an existing flood light to the install was simply a remove and replace and the separate camera is battery powered so also simple to install. Hardest part was setting up the account and linking to our Wi-Fi. That too went pretty good for this caveman. Kinda cool and thankfully we didn’t have any alerts overnight.

Well, my day didn't go as planned. Just as I finished my morning coffee the neighbor lady called. Her hubby
and oldest son left her and their youngest son and went to Arizona for a couple of months. When I'm home I
plow the snow for them and handle emergencies. Well, anyway, a tree fell across their driveway and could I
come over and move it as she needed to get her son to a medical appointment. (See, he's 54 years old and has
some mental issues). So I got my trusty four wheeler and chain saw and went over and removed the tree. The son
actually got out of the car and helped me throw it off the drive when I had cut it in half.

Some days just develop on their own.

Then I plowed snow for a couple of hours.

Overcast, 27°F,
Humidity 93%
Barometer 30.01 in
Cloudy, with a high near 30. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight Snow, mainly after 11pm. The snow could be heavy at times.
New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Well, yesterday I bucked the snow higher so I had more maneuvering room and now here comes some more.
Coffee, cookies.
Nothing planned today but that usually changes as the day progresses.

I bet I’m going to need to be plowed out tomorrow morning. Yesterday it snowed about two inches and it was barely passable last night when I returned from Wisconsin Dells.

33 and looking at 38 later. Heavy overcast with rain in the forecast. There’s talk about a little non accumulating snow but with a high of 38 and no overnight freeze probably not. Got a few indoor chores to work on today but nothing worth discussing. Another “boring” January day, come-on’ spring.

Just a light dusting of snow last night, 35 right now, 41 predicted for tomorrow. City was out last night putting down de-icer. Unless we have heavy snowfall the city and county do a good job of keeping the roads pretty much snow free. A lot of new younger drivers no longer have a clue about how to drive on snow. Ages ago when I was young we used to go to large parking lots late at night after a moderate snowfall and spin donuts so we knew how to control a skid, now a lot of drivers if they start skidding slam on their brakes which is the worst possible reaction.

N. CA still. Windy with fine sand blast type snow. None of it sticking. Just blows away.

Scrambled eggs, biscuit, bacon and tea.
