Forgive me forum it’s been ten days since I’ve plinked. Today I brought out the New Model Single-Six although my pistol target fell off the post it was on. I tried at 35 yards and didn’t hit anything except snow and earth.

Hey, you can blame the cold and all the new snow. :) Still beats not shooting.

Thanks Dave. I’m getting fairly good at scooping and plowing with it.

Time for a rifle rack on the ol' tractor for plinking on the run! I need to bring my lawn tractor home from my range for some maintenance and will be making a roll bar/ chain saw/ gun holder for it and most likely for something small like the Ranch Hand.

On a side note I saw a brand new Ruger Single Six with the mag cyl for sale at the local gun store where I live for a whopping 750.00. My jaw hit the table

Last I saw a Single Six near me, that was the going rate. You might get one down near $700 but it will show signs of use.

I agree, Paul. According to my LGS, Ruger is just starting to ship revolvers again (other than the Wrangler) after very low production numbers for the last few years and they ain't cheap. They had just gotten in their first Redhawk in four years at price was 1K. Also a Ruger Alaskan 44 mag for $1100.

Went out shooting today with one of my friends here in the park. We went to the Corpus Christi gun club. I have a winter Texan membership there. Had a great time not only shooting clays on the bank but chasing shotgun shells around on the same bank. I took a couple photos one of the 22 with my new Holosun sight and the bank we were shooting at. The Ruger really likes Mini Mag target 40 gr and Remington Golden Bullet 36 grain hp

We were shooting at about 20 yards from the bank
