Good morning from south central Pennsylvania, a change in the weather for the better as far as I am concerned. 49* here at 7:34AM. I guess Indian summer is over, cool and windy here today with a high of 56* predicted, soon time to rake leaves or suck them up with the lawn mower and bag.

Morning all. Very cool morning here, right on the freezing mark. Just doing some work around home today, might even get all the Christmas lights up and ready to roll. Usually I do it when it's -10 with the howling wind. Unless it's too windy today, I will get to the range later. Tea this morning in a Montana Coffee Traders mug my wife bought in Kalispell. Have a good day.

Good morning all from Jonesboro, GA. A brisk, 44 degrees, and windy morning here in the 'boro. The cooler temps are a welcomed relief to the heat. Coffee out of a UGA mug this morning. Why? Well, it was clean! Going to make a LGS run today. Most likely, there will be nothing I will want, but hey, one doesn't know if one doesn't look! Trying to resist the urge to get a Henry .357 Silver Boy. Saw one and it would look great next to my Silver Boy .22. I don't need another .357 rifle, but what the heck does "need" have to do with anything.lol Take care and be safe.

Agreed, 'need' has very little to do with anything! I say go for it.

While I'm here, it's already pretty warm here in Southern California. Going to be another hot one today!

40* at 6:45 AM. Local forecast is for mid to 60's today with the winds still stirring things up. It just about stripped all the leaves from the trees at the higher elevations with the high winds of the last two days. Mid 50's for this week in the forecast. Not sure what is in store for today. Could end up at the drag strip if there is anything good going on there. If nothing is going on I will spend the day rearranging my shelves in my gun room and making sure I have enough 222 Remington ammo loaded for the rest of the fall and winter season. Have a nice Sunday.

Currently low 40's and the rain has stopped.

I'm looking forward to the sun and it's going to the mid 50's today.

We got lots of rain yesterday, thankfully. Today is starting off with bright sunshine, temps in the low 40's and breezy.

Low to mid 70s for us today. Last hoorah, I'm sure.

Mowing is on the agenda, a trip to the range and then band rehearsal.

It got down to the 60's last night which is cold for us. Beautiful Sunday morning so...........

Image

This is about 10-15 yards, closer than I usually shoot, but this is offhand with the pistol with CCI quiets.

Image

I started out with a good group, all in the orange centered and tight, but the more I shot, it seemed to open up. That happens a lot with pistols. I'm sure I'll get better.

So out comes Mr. Henry :D

Image

BTW, the board is to block the sound in my neighbor's direction. It isn't necessary with quits and subsonics, but I do everything thing I can to keep the noise down. It really isn't that hard to reduce things to an absolute minimum, like he doesn't even know I'm shooting.

Here I'm in about the middle of the 25 rd range pointing north. In the center you can barely see the 50yd range pointing west.

Image

Well enough of this nonsense, time to do some quick shopping and settle into some football :D

Very cool morning here with frost. Took a ride this morning on Badger, posted some photos in the October contest. Tea time now and warm up. It's wool trapper coat and woolly chaps time again!

If I may be so bold as to butt in to your personal life...

You need to get Dish/DVR. I record everything and watch it later. I hate commercials.

Plus, everyone I know is instructed to NOT mention anything NASCAR until they check to see that I've watched it first. Sometimes it pays to be old and cranky.

Go Mark Martin....oh wait. Never mind.
