Another beautiful day coming up. Due to the drought we haven't had to endure mosquitoes this year.
(Minnesota's State Bird).
After my coffee and cookies I'll start yard work around the pool area.
This afternoon gun club and then beer and wings with gun club friends. :D
Happy, happy.

Yep, hot as the dickens here too. 97 now, tomorrow and thru Mon 104-108! A/C, be kind and do your thing!
Hurry up Fall!
Yikes, heard about your heat wave on the morning news.

For us 56 now leading to 100 later. Funny how I can sit out on the patio now and be slightly cool and in 4-5 hours it will be so unpleasantly hot I won’t be out there. Oh well, the basement and my reloading/gun room need straightening up so this afternoon will be a good time to do it. Nice and cool down there. Cooling down somewhat next week but still on the warm side.

82° with 86% humidity. It hasn't rained today so far. There's supposed to be rain later in the day. Just had cereal, strawberries, and coffee for breakfast. I'm taking the sister-in-law to the doctor's this morning.

Gonna get hot today but so cool and breezy this fine a.m. Back to dairy creamer! Tried real hard to like oat and almond milk but can't do it. Ruins my coffee. Love it any other part of the day in protein shakes or cereal but sucks in the morning brew lol

Super busy yesterday but got it all done so today I'm taking it easier and pacing myself ...
Nice to have that as an option... coffee up and good luck out there.

Another really nice day and more forecast to come.
Coffee and cookies.
I went to the gun club yesterday for trap and skeet and then beer and wings with friends. :D
We had our Legion monthly meeting last night, (the legion owns the gun club), and we got
the membership to ratify our gun club lease along with some other items we've been working
on for some time. Win, win.

82° with 85% humidity. It's sunny now but there's rain in the forecast for the next several days. Labor Day weekend is going to be a washout. Anyway, got some work to do today (and some goofing off). Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Getting ready to get first cup of coffee. Wishing for rain today. (Don't we all spend a lot of time wishing snd wanting one thing or another?) Perhaps it is the nature if the beast we be, or perhaps we've been mistaught, or perhaps..... a combination of other reasons,.... go figure.... I feel like that commercial where the guy is setting on the beach in deep thought wondering. ..... why can't you wear white after labor day....
Oh well. I guess I will go get my coffee going and go back to wishing for rain..... life has to go on, can't stop everything while you ponder any one particular mystery.... 🤪😉

There are showers west of us but the weather guesser says they are dissipating. :(
We need rain but instead it looks like a perfect Labor Day weekend.
Coffee, cookies and mowing this morning. WE have a bunch of relatives coming on Monday.

57 when I got up several hours ago currently 88 and heading to the upper 90’s later. Possible thunderstorms tomorrow with little to no rain so watch out. The storms we had a couple of days ago started a big fire quite a ways north of me. But the smoke is blowing right to the area I will be camping in next week. Oh well, it’s been a really nice mostly smoke free summer so far.

70º now and predicted 85º with partly sunny calm day.
Sold my motor cycle to a young man that was very happy to get it. He and his father came to pick it up and they were both good people. They plan to do some riding together and both have experience with riding and maintenance so I am assured they will take care of and enjoy it. I simply had enough of the heavier traffic and drivers not paying attention to what is going on around them. I have ridden since I was 16 but times have changed and I have changed as well so it was time to pass it on.
Have a safe weekend and holiday.
Ernie

A really nice weekend coming up. I did the mowing yesterday and will finish with the string trimmer today.
I also need to clean up down by the dock. Cat tails are trying to take over and the dock needs paint.
This is the big weekend. Usually after Labor Day Daddy's Resort closes down for the year. (My oldest daughter
named our place that). We live way back in the timber on a lake, a very large house, and we have a pool and
hot tub. The pool will be closed in a week or so, and then I'll pull the dock in about a month. Winter's on the way.
