here’s my .357 carbine. I follow function over form,
I’ve removed the rubber butt pad and cut an inch off LOP for my short arms. Added a low profile mount with delta point rds( sub optimal for outdoor use in woods, I have an trijicon RMF on a Rossi.454 and found out in wet mist an open emitted rds becomes unusable once the diode gets wet) I had sitting around from another gun. QD flashlight and ammo sleeve and sling. I also have ranger point thumb screw to quickly remove stock to carry in a skinner takes down case. I do this with all my lever guns.

So, I will jump back into the fray -- My 327 carbine never ran as well as my other Henry's, so I sent it back in and they determined that it needed a new barrel, but there were none in stock, so they gave me the option to replace it with another rifle! I chose a 327 standard-size which has great wood and runs and shoots perfectly. I am going to add the new rifle to the count, along with a couple of used H001's that I am accumulating for the family.
