Our Morning Coffee and Weather

85° and headed to over 100° every day this week according to the weather report this morning. Also there's no rain in the forecast this week. I saw the news reports of the fires over in Europe. I guess the whole planet is experiencing drought. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this moring.

I slept in this morning and am still enjoying the morning coffee after noon.
I'm at 75F and 80% humidity. It rained some and I'm hoping for more rain. The garden needs it.
Coffee is in an international Scouting mug today.
House cleaning and equipment maintenance today. I got a gallon can of WD-40 for the tractors and a few bottles of Balistol to keep the guns nice. I've always used RemOil, but I'm trying Balistol.

51 heading to the mid 80’s with nice sunny blue skies. Next few days are forecast to be in the 90’s with a little cool down for the weekend. Somehow my wife talked my into driving her the to the Spokane Valley Mall to do some shopping. Fortunately there is a Sportsman’s Warehouse at the mall so I can spend my time there. Need a better fillet knife and maybe some hoochies for trout fishing. Of course I will check on powder and primers while there.

Good luck with the primer and powder. I spent a small fortune earlier in the year for both so am good for some time. Currently 90° and headed to 101° they say. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. Rode the Harley to the bank this morning to give it some exercise. It puttered and coughed a couple of times to let me know it had sit a couple of weeks. Hopefully I won't have to take it in for service.

In the same boat here in SE TX. Hot and dry under "Extreme Drought". Right now it's 83° and headed to over 100° again today. Just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Just saw the Texas weather forecast and holy cow, every day in triple digits. Report went on to say that last year Texas had about a 5% drought rate and this year it’s 94%.

For us, woke up to 51 and we should see 90 by the time the temps start to fall back. Unlike you poor folks in Texas and other southern states with you 75 degree overnight temps we do have nice cool nights that help cool down homes for folks who don’t have A/C. Next week we are expecting a warm up with temps in the mid 90’s. Yuk.

We're still in Iowa at the rally. It's hot and has been really windy. I mean really windy as in the vendor tents are being blown over, but during the night the wind went down. It's a beautiful morning.

Coffee and cookies, but in a little while I will go to a food vendor and get a breakfast sandwich.

Winnebago produced their 500,000 RV and it's sitting here on display.

We joined up with a military group while here and the happy hours have been great fun, but Carol's little cat wants to go home. She's not having fun.

Well, we go home tomorrow morning.

Right now it's 84° and no rain in the forecast again. Things are really drying up. It'll probably flood this fall to make up for it. Got the wife's Burgman up and running so now I get the pleasure of taking it to be inspected. She always wrangles me into these things and I try to get her to take charge. She's 10 years my junior and one of these days I'm not going to be around to take care of her crap. It was supposed to be inspected and new tags over a year ago. Woke up to 53 with beautiful blue skies. High is supposed to be 91 with a possible thunder storm tonight. It’s starting to dry out and fire season is upon us. With the cool wet spring we had the fuels are greater than normal. The bottom of my property has a lot of ferns and they are probably 2’ taller than usual. Hot next week with every day in the 90’s and maybe some low triple digits. Yuk yuk yuk

Hitting the golf course today and it’s a long course. We walk so it will be a workout. Fortunately it’s a pretty flat course.

Seems like it was only a few weeks ago that this area was celebrating the first 60 degree day.

Absolutely NOTHING getting done outside for next several days...Heat and Humidity taking care of that no matter what time of day/night!
