Good morning, got some much needed rain in the wee hours of yesterday morn, and a couple more during the day.
Little cooler this AM at 72 with a nice 9mph breeze, and a high of 91 later.
There is a gun show at the fairgrounds, not sure that I will adventure there as other than some primers I really don't need anything.
Primers really aren't an issue but if I stumble up on some reasonably priced I'll buy some.

Woke up to a nice 55 with clear skies. Currently it’s 60 and heading to the low 80’s. Then this week we are expecting a couple of days in the 90’s and the rest in the mid to upper 80’s. We’re going to be at the lake and where we’re staying there is very little shade. Just upgraded our generator so we can run the A/C in the trailer. Speaking of the trailer we spent the night in it giving the dog a little more exposure to it. He’s doing fine other than he doesn’t want to come down the stairs which are the three step Mo-Ryde (for you RV’ers) and are very solid. He flies up them but is hesitant to come down. I put carpet on the stairs for him and I think that is helping a bit. Funny, he uses the carpeted stairs to the basement in the house as a jungle gym. He will drop one of his toys down and then fly down to get it and then flies back up.
Just trip preps today.

Already 90° and headed to 102° later today. It's been unmercifully hot. The humidity right now is at 70%. Just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Folgers and cookies.
Church and then brunch at a small town diner. Really good chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and toast.
I drove the Jeep in the parade last evening and I am glad I did. It's a suburb of Minneapolis, but the same feelings
about God and country don't apply there. We had the Honor Guard marching in front of us with all the flags, and
then we had the Stars and Strip along with the POW flag mounted on the front of the Jeep. People stood and some
put their hands over there hearts as we passed. The parade had over 200 entries and the crowd was huge.
What I really enjoyed were the little children who smiled and waved. I like children.
I did not see one sign of protest or disrespect. I am happy I did it.

73 this morning with chance of scattered showers. Breakfast, then off to the dentist for my cleaning. Could be interesting with the pain I been having the last 6 weeks or so.

Morning, got up to a surprising 64 this AM, but won't last long as it is predicted to be mid 90's later on.
Got a smallish job lined up to start here shortly, waiting on material to be delivered.
Have a good Monday.

50 overnight and looking at 88 or so later today. We spent the night in the trailer in the driveway again last night. Just giving the pup a bit more exposure to rv life. It was hot when we went to bed and I didn’t close the roof vents. Woke up to 59 in the trailer and I had to turn on the electric heater for a little while to take the chill off.

Interior temp in the trailer was 59 at the same time the internal temp in the house was 74. There just might be a little bit of difference in the insulation value between the two.
My wife decided she would be willing to tow the boat with her Explorer so we made a trial run with her driving yesterday. She did great including highway speeds and pulling into a gas pump. This will save me several hours making two trips and reduce out overall trips from eight to four. Yea!
I had better get off this computer and finish up packing as we’re leaving here in a few hours.

I had Folgers and cookies at home and then went to our retirees breakfast and had a very big meal.
Carol has a procedure at the Mayo tomorrow and has to fast today, so I don't plan to eat in front
her. (Nothing serious.) I stopped and got her a bunch of sugar free popsicles to suck on. As soon
as the procedure is done we'll probably hit Famous Dave's for BBQ.
The contractor texted me that he's coming after lunch to set the Generac in place. Then I can
have the gas company hook up the propane and then it's all set for the electricians to hook it up.
I'm glad that's getting done as we leave for a week with the motor home on Sunday.

75 right now, supposed to hit 95 so I am heading out right now to dig some sand out of the irrigation ditch before it gets too hot. Have enjoyed the cooler weather so far this year but it has apparently caused a mosquito population explosion, normally there's only a few around but was out last night and they were pretty thick especially the closer you got to the creek.

It's no longer morning for sure but we got up to 104° with a "feels like" of 111° today. I'm getting really tired of this weather. We haven't seen any appreciable rain in a long time. It did rain a couple of weeks ago but only got a few 10ths.

Coffee and cookies.
It's supposed to be a really nice day with low humidify and clear skies. What we really need is a day of
steady rain. We're really dry, and the week ahead has no forecast of rain at all.
We're up early. Carol has a checkup at the Mayo this AM. (Nothing serious). She had to fast all day
yesterday so she's anxious to gettr done.
I had a VFW meeting last night and then we all went out for a beer. It was a lot of fun.

Currently 87° with 80% humidity. The high is not supposed to get over 100° today so I'll take that if true. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning. I've got some work to do and a bit of running around to CVS and a garden supply.

63* and wet. High in the upper 70s. 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms today. North wind at 6 mph.
Glad I mowed yesterday. Thunderstorms hit around dusk. I still need to trim but the weather looks grim today. Maybe.
Good morning.
I figured this was as good a place as any for a first post.

60 degrees up here at the Kettle Falls campground. Kettle Falls is about 90 miles north of Spokane and is on the Columbia River reservoir called Lake Roosevelt. Yesterday it was HOT, we were out on the boat fishing all day and had a nice breeze on the water which kept us cool. First blood on the new boat and the Captain kept a vigilant watch!
It’s supposed to be a cooler day today around 82 or so. Heading out here in a minute to find more fish.
