Finished my 45/70 loads. Now I've got 100 pcs Starline 45/70,
that likely need trimming.
Speaking of trimming. I found & ordered 2 cutters for the Hornady Cam trimmer. Like everything else, they are scarce.
They only had 5 in stock at Graf & Son. Randy do you need a back up?
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Went to the LGS to check the status of my Henry order and found they had some powder and primers. Bought some Alliant 300-MP powder for $25/lb and CCI small rifle primers for $8/100. Figured I would get what I could and put it in the cabinet with the rest. The powder states it is a magnum pistol powder and I was wondering if anyone had experience with it.

Loaded up 50 only 41 mag’s using H110. I saved some bullets in case I can find a pound of 2400 somewhere. I put the Bat-Signal out here locally for some 2400 and offered several other powders for a trade hoping to entice somebody into letting a pound go. I’m planning on getting my BBS out for another trip to the range and give it some more break in time.

CCI small rifle primers for $8/100.
I fully understand buying what you can, I would too since I am down primers, but I cannot begin to shout loud enough how criminal it is to take advantage of loyal customers and charging such an outrageous prices.

Not a lot gets under my skin, but I'm tellin ya, loyalty runs two ways, up and down.

(PS, give me a gold star for keeping it clean, it wasn't easy !)

A LGS here got about 100K in CCI SRP by mistake from their distributor (they don't carry reloading supplies). They were selling them for $65/brick initially. Then it jumped up to $75/brick. Now it is at $150/brick. I'll not be going back.

That's just baldface gouging. Maybe the LGS will make a quick profit, but it leaves a bad taste and you lose customers long term.
