Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A cool 63° this morning after thunderstorms rolled through yesterday. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning. Got some work to do today.

Headed to the Dr here in a while then back home. Getting ready to take a long ride to Washington State. Taking the scenic route this time.

Yikes! Two things we should never run out of are coffee and ammo.
45 with a steady rain coming down which is supposed to stop this morning. Then maybe some clearing skies which could cause some pop up thunderstorms and 25 mph wind gusts.
Of course this is happening on the day that we take delivery of our boat. The dealer launches the boat at a local lake and we get a shake down cruise. Not looking forward to my first docking with the new boat in a 25 mph wind. Could be it will get the first dock rash on the maiden voyage.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Oh hell no! You can't let that happen! My God, how will you cope?
I have a Keurig. In fact, I have two. One in the house and a smaller one in the motor home.
Then if you go on their web site you can order the coffee of your likes and it will be delivered to you
monthly, automatically. Then you never run out.
I know, some folks hate Keurig. I don't care. I just sip my Folgers and ignore them.

once again we enjoyed a beautiful start to a day in central NC .... with the forecast calling for late afternoon thunderstorms we needed to get busy early on .... regular breakfast passed quickly, even a reduced Folger's flow .... we are now back from a 50+ mile round trip drive to take Maureen to her first scheduled followup with the with the cardiac surgeon who installed her pacemaker .... happy to report that she is doing great and her next appointment is a year from now ....

19F with the promise of sunny skies. It’s twilight right now and I can’t see the sky yet. I sometimes get up early just to watch the sunrise. My biggest problem is I’m still out of coffee. Life is tough out here on the homestead.

39° and sunny for the rest of the day. 1st cup of dark roast is down, and breakfast of sausage eggs and toast. Then its the treadmill to get warmed up for more staining of the fence. We have a long ways to go, and my body doesn't like it one bit. I've got projects to do, but they ain't getting any easier. Might be looking at a 3 acre piece of property up in Butler TN which is on Watauga lake. It's a nice piece with exceptional views. Were looking for a spot for camping, shooting, hunting, and just getting away for a weekend. The realtor is going to call me this morning. It's getting real hard to find property now up in the mountains with a view and a level spot. This place has both, plus water and electricity at the road. No hoa of course and its on a private road. Got my fingers crossed. Cheers!

Wow! Now that's a cup of coffee!
32 degrees, thin overcast light wind
Still chilly, supposed to hit 49 today.
our normal should be 62.
Folgers and cereal.
Shop work again.
I had a load of crushed rock delivered yesterday and will begin patching potholes tomorrow.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 31 and snowing when I got up. There is almost an inch of snow outside. Temp is going to top out at 40 today. Odd since I mowed the lawn on Monday.
Coffee in a scout mug.
The power went off last night, but not all the lights went out at once. Today, my laptop looked odd. All my files and downloads are no where to be found and the home screen seemed reset. After a restart, confirmed. It's like the power outage reset my computer. No files, pictures or downloads. I am checking the main pc, but it needed downloads when I started it up again.
Hopefully, we will be done with this snow soon.
I hope your day is great.

That Tennessee property sounds wonderful dasmouetorhead, hope you are able to snag it!
32 with a light frost and a prediction of 50 later. The sun is trying to peek out form the hazy skies and I wish it luck!
Brought our boat home yesterday after a chilly test cruise and all went well. Got home late so I only took this picture but today I plan to sit in the captains seat and make motor noises with my mouth.
I’ll take some better pics and post them later.

27F headed to the low 50’s with no clouds and so far little wind. Sometimes the wind picks up after sunrise. Should be a good day for Dave and I to plink.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
40° and sunny. Good day to stain the fence. No rain until tomorrow afternoon. Working on the 1st cup of joe. Breakfast will be the usual, sausage eggs and toast. Got the yard cut and string trimmed yesterday. I sure didn't miss this during the winter. It was a good break though lol. Thos morning there was supposed to be frost, but it didn't happen here, and I'm glad. That just might be the last one. Cheers!
