we are camped with our club and are up early this morning .... the price of diesel at the BP station next to our campground id 20 cents a gallon cheaper at home so I drove over and filled our Sportchassis .... $328 later she's full .... the rain puddles that formed yesterday are frozen this morning .... its going to have to warm up a bit before I get back out there again

It's 24 here in Ashville, NC. It's warmer at home in Minnesota.
Well, the wind has gone down so today should be a better drive than yesterday was.
We plan to be just east of Nashville tonight, and St Louis on Monday night.
We're heading home.

21F not going much higher. We got another 4 - 6 inches of snow overnight. At least a foot of snow on the ground total.
Coffee in the John Deere mug.
Going out to snow blow the driveway and then use my new snowshoes.
I hope you have a great day.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
That’s almost a heat wave compared to the temps you have been reporting earlier this week. Hope it’s the start of your spring.
Here it’s 33 and heading to the mid 40’s with rain. Yesterday I saw 51 with sun and man that was nice. Still have snow around but it’s mostly the berms from plowing and blowing. This Wednesday we have a work day at the rifle range for the High Power shooters and the forecast is for 50 and sunny and I happy to hear that. I have a couple of rifles that I changed scopes on that need to be sighted in so I’ll get there early and do that.
Today like all I have to change the clocks and I’ll replace the batteries in the smoke alarms while I’m at it.

29° dark, and I think cloudy. Snows gone. Working on 1st cup of coffee. The hound is stirring, and ready to go out.
Taxes got done, basically the carbon copy of last year. Not much planned for today, but stuff always comes up. The treadmill is staring me down. Gotta do some miles. I made a radio contact on HF yesterday to the Canary Islands. That was a 1st for me.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
27F with 2 to 6 inches of snow is in the forecast. I need to make a run to the post office this morning to mail my electric payment. Once they get the check they will have my routing number and I’ll be on auto-pay.
Hope I can get to town and back before the snow starts. I’ll leave the van at the bottom of the hill so UPS can load my packages into it.

Minnesota
Fair 34°F 1°C
Humidity 75%
Wind Speed NE 5 mph
Here in Lebanon, Tn. it's 43, clear and calm. Setting up to be a nice day.
Folgers and cookies.
Gene, it takes a while to get set up and used to these northern Winters.
Hang in there and I'll bet a year from now you'll think nothing of it, but
I'd keep the RV so you can venture south once in a while.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I’m used to the cold already and don’t mind it. I just wish my range was setup better. I have to setup the targets each day as they melt into the snow. Plus they need to be set out further. The Class A RV just isn’t my style. I can’t wait to fetch my teardrop and Subaru from Washington.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:47 amMinnesota

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
35F going to 45F today. It's partly sunny and shaping up to be a nice day.
Coffee is in the Henry mug this morning. I have two at home and found I have two at camp when we moved to the new camp.
I'm glad I tested my snow shoes when I did. It looks like the snow will be leaving this week. It is supposed to steadily climb and be in the 60's by weeks end.
Nothing much on the plate today.
I hope your day is great.

38 heading to 47. Seemed a little dark this morning, maybe it’s just me
Rain overnight with more coming in later today and tomorrow. We should see some 50’s mid to late this week.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Selling a class A right now might be a little tougher than it was a month ago. Maybe not. But fuel price has changed alot of RVers plans. They are having cancellations here where I am at because of it. Im glad I have a full tank of diesel that have have kept full all along. Its paid off 2 years in a row.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
T'was 56° this morning and not it's 61°. These are what I call 2 shirt days. Long sleeve for the early morning and short sleeve the rest of the day. Cooked sausage, eggs, toast and coffee. Got to get caught up on work.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I hear that. I’m thinking about selling the boat I bought last year and getting one better suited for fishing the big water we have around here. The big powerful engine that I was so proud of last year now might be a deterrent. What a difference a year makes…BigAl52 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 10:37 amSelling a class A right now might be a little tougher than it was a month ago. Maybe not.
