Brm, let’s all kick 2021 in the butt and hopefully look forward to a better 2022. Should be an easy task for you, unfortunately.

Woke up to 5 above and 2” of fresh snow. Now it’s 17 which is a couple degrees above the forecast high. I’m good with that error. I went out and shoveled the walk, patio and garage pad while it was still in the single digits. Now that it’s a tropical 17 I’m going out to plow in my heated cab. Hmmmm, I need to take a look at my scheduling.

Damn! So sorry to hear brm! Hoping for a speedy recovery!
Right now it is 73° with a high of 83°. Saturday's forecast is for a high of 84° and a low of 39° with Sunday's high 45° and low of 33°. Talk about a difference! We're going from tropical weather to winter for sure. Just had cereal, banana, and coffee this morning.

Sorry to hear about your wife brm, best to her and the rest of your family. Enough already!

8 above with a high of 15 pending. Then tonight we expect to see the lowest temp of this big chill with the forecast low for my place -7 and in Spokane where the New Years activities will be the low is expected to be -4.

Next week starting Sunday night we are expecting multiple bands of mild wet weather to travel above the cold temps in place at the surface. In the past this pattern has led to heavy snowfall measuring in double digit inches at a time. We’ll see about that but the plow may be busy.

Stopped into Wally’s for coffee the other day and they didn’t have any of the Folgers Black Silk large cans. And only three of the mid size cans so I scooped them up. Hope this isn’t an ongoing problem. The local grocery store had a good supply of the mid size cans at about $2 more than Wallys.

I'm supping on coffee... mid 50s and raining... supposed to fall off the Table and be in the teens tonight.
Sudden changes like that are tuff on thin skinned, lazy old men like me..... . I would complain more, but, alas the people that live in real cold would be too embarrassed for me so I will shut up and sup my coffee and be happy most of the real cold around here. (usually) lasts only a short time ....on we stagger.... already looking for spring... I am now hoping and worrying that this wet won't make it a fight to get the trailers out of the corral Tuesday when I'm sending my weaned calves to market... guess I will keep the big tow chains handy and have the 886 international plugged in in case I have to pull truck and goosenecks... yep ... old men spend too much time worrying... I either will get them out and sold Tuesday or have to wait and try again the next week.... seems that crazy looking little Yoda feller was right when he said to Luke Skywalker .... " there is no try, there is only do or not do" .......😉

Good morning and welcome to the first day of the new year.
Here in central W TN it's 68, then it will ease up a couple degrees then start cooling off with some rain mixed in.
High tomorrow is only supposed to be 39. :o
Happy New Year.

Fair -11°F -24°C Humidity 70%
Wind Speed NW 9 mph
Barometer 30.15 in
Folgers and cookies.
Well, well, well, clear and cold, or as my late Father would say, "Clear as a bell and colder than hell!"
Nothing planned today. Just stay in and stay warm.
The forecast high is minus one.
We're still waiting for hell to freeze over and then the 'Vikings will win the Super Bowl.

Wishing you and yours the BEST BRM.
29º now and dropping all day. Rain this morning changing to snow about noon and supposed to snow all night. Fortunately the system is coming in from the WSW and lake effect will be mostly to the north of me. Predicting 4-10 inches which will be wet snow that will give us a good ice layer and snow building on top of that. Could be worse. Putting the chains on the tractor with the snowblower this morning and making sure the Jeep is ok and gassed up. Have a great start of the New Year.

It was 76° this morning and we're supposed to set a record high of 86° this afternoon before falling to 33° early Sunday morning. That's a BIG difference. Right now at 10 a.m it's 81°. Just had cereal, banana, and coffee this morning.

It was 0 when I went to bed and 4 when I got up. I like that pattern. It was supposed to get to -7 last night but it looks like a cloud cover came in and kept the temps warmer than forecast. Thank you clouds. High today is in the mid teens with warmer temps showing up on Monday. With the warmer temps comes a prediction for some sustained snowfall that could be a mess.

Not much on tap for today so I went downstairs and turned the heater on in my reloading room. Thought I would reload some 41 mag but couldn’t find my fired brass. Well I finally found it in the ammo storage cabinet complete with primer, powder and bullet installed. For the life of me I can’t remember loading it. Sucks to get old……. I do need to do some ladder loads for 32 H&R so I guess I won’t waste the heat down there.
