Went to the range yesterday and burned up most of my 30-06 ammo in the Garand. So out of need I put together some more loads. My favorite load for the Garand is a 150 gr. boattail bullet over IMR 4895. Most books with tell you that 49 gr. of 4895 is a good starting load, but I like to take it easy on the 75 year old M1. I prefer 47.5 gr. and the Garand functions flawlessly.

100 rounds loaded and ready for the next range trip.

80 rounds in enbloc clips for the Garand.

Looking good HH ! I see those Missouri bullets on the left side of the bench. Love the M1.

RNG thanks. I use Missouri bullets for both my Henry BBS in 357 Mag and my Marlin in 45 Colt. They just flat out perform well. :D

Cleaning up some 44 Mag brass this afternoon. will be filling them with my all around load of 240 MB SWC and 9 gr. Unique. Great for revolver and lever rifle.

Yes they do! Gads, in the last few days, I've loaded .45 Colt, .45 acp and .357 mag. Getting ready to load more .357/180 loads for the Henry.

Thats the problem with living in that desert country the weather is always just right for more work. Its 10 degrees here no hobby time now and to cold for work. Gonna fix that in a couple weeks headed for the gulf.
