Merry Christmas to the family. Got home from her sons at 2am. Not what I wanted for Christmas but it will be ok. Supposed to be 50 here today and a good day tomorrow and Sunday.

Just the wife and I for Christmas today. It was a cool 27* this AM heading to low 50's later. Sunday we will have 4 of the 7 Grandkids over for brisket and fixin's. I took the 22lb brisket out to thaw this AM. I am going to smoke it on Camp Chef Pellet grill. They are the Bee's Knees for getting a perfect smoke every time. Have 1 Grandson in Edinburg, Scotland. He and his fiancee? are spending the Holiday with her family.She spent a Great Texas Christmas here last year. I hope the Scots will have lifted their lock down by then. Have a Granddaughter coming in from Fort ?? Old timers acting up. They live on base on the border between Kentucky and Tennessee. Her husband is in the Army. He has just returned from A'stan. His family is all military. The son's wife took the other 2 g'kids to Louisanna to visit her Mom.

19 degrees this morning where we are parked in our camper beside our oldest son's home (3 miles from ours) .... its only supposed to get up to 42 .... with the rain day before yesterday our camper's slide awnings will have ice on them .... therefore, we've decided to go home in a little while and come back to get the camper tomorrow .... eggs, sausage and Folgers kicking off another day

We had our white Christmas yesterday but the white didn’t show up until 6 ish. 4” of new snow overnight so it’s a shoveling/blowing day. Not enough to plow off my gravel driveway without moving too much gravel. 29 heading up to 32ish with a few dry days in the future.

What is going on in NC and surrounding areas. JEBar, 19 degrees????? That’s just wrong!

Low 30's here today and most of the week by the looks of it. Likely go to the range tomorrow. Maybe shoot the high wall. My new Skinner ladder sight should be here this week and I will replace the primitive fixed rear buckhorn sight on my BP rifle with it. Then off to the range to try it out. Hopes that it makes a big difference.

12 deg. last nite, not above freezing the last two days. Came out to leave this am, truck wouldn't crank. Hadn't been started in over 2 days. Jumped it off, stopped at Autozone, had them check the battery. Said it was good. Been starting ever since.

High 37 today with a a chance of rain. Should get rid of some of the snow. Last day of vacation and will be working on getting wheels on The jointer and planers. Will help clearing some space in the shop.

A warm 45 and rain this morning, Heading to SeaTac airport as daughter Susan flies back to South Carolina. Was a wonderful Christmas.

Good morning everybody. 14° out and clear, and icy. Breakfast and coffee is done. Wete having a 2nd Christmas today with our youngest son. He couldn't make it Christmas day, due to the snow conditions on the mountain. Looking forward to the shrimp gumbo that he requested. What a Mom. Cheers

we are slowly getting back to normal .... with Christmas, none of the days of the week seem like they ought to .... 26 this morning, on its way to 51 later today .... thankfully no rain .... biggest thing on our agenda is moving our camper back home from our son's place where we spent Christmas .... eggs, sausage and Folgers

Woke up to 30 with very little increase in temp expected due to low clouds and upper fog. Supposed to have a few dry days with more snow forecast for Wednesday. Watching one of my wife’s yard pests (whitetail fawn) nearly on my patio. As always I’m enjoying a nice cup of coffee and starting to think about some breakfast.

Woke up this morning to dogs again, of course. Seems they have a pretty good biological clock. Made biscuits, gravy, bacon, eggs, and coffee this morning for everyone. I think it's going to be another slow day today.
