Maybe I want one because I can't have it? Looks like fun though.

In CA they are considered pistols which means they need to be on our approved handgun roster controlled by the state. Since they don't have the ability to 'microstamp' on the cases which is a new requirement as of last year they will never be added to the roster. Anyway, long story short... no mares legs or 10/22 Chargers for me! Until I move... then I'll buy one of each because I can!

It felt funny to shoot a semi-auto. Bolts and levers have been my constant for the last few years.

It seemed like everyone I knew from 1975 to 1990 had a 10-22. How I did not end up with one is a mystery.
