Another vintage 10/22

Ditchparrot, Ruger serial number charts are known to be a bit fuzzy as to the exact numbers, plus the years stated are dates of shipment, which sometimes is a bit later than the actual year of production, especially if the gun was made in the last half of a year and especially if its a model like the 10/22 with a very high annual production. In other words, very possible your gun could have been made in 1980.

Al, I like that Ruger puts the BX trigger in the target versions like that one. Let us know how it shoots.

A 10-22 was the first firearm I bought. NIB in 1974. Like NCG's, the only plastic is the rotary magazine. My older son has had it now for a long time, but, still shoots it. They just don't make 'em like that anymore. Wish I could remember the price; seemed like right around $60. New!!

From the old 10/22 ads I've seen from the 70s, that's about the right price. That was a lot of rifle for the money, even back then.
