Mine tonight... Made up, don't know if it has name, by someone else. 2-1/2 shots 100 proof Vodka, 2 shots orange juice, 1 shot lime juice, over ice. Sip away for the evening. By bed time, a nice glow felt in the cheeks.
That is one I am going to have to remember for later, if that ever come again for me. Sounds very interesting as a cool downer during sunset.

Just got home....
Been over to the local drag strip, couple of the guys from the show Street Outlaws was there.
Not sure if anyone follows it or not.
I don't, the wife does. ;)
Any way we had fun, she doesn't indulge, so I was able to sip a couple B&T's. :D
And the good part is we had a good time, and we were only a short 6 miles from home. :D
Almost bedtime. :| :|

Yesterday evening I was sitting on my deck with the dogs (a Lab and a Shetland Sheepdog), having my Adult evening Beverage - ironically, a Modelo Negra - when Sloane the Lab alerted, then bounded off the deck a little way to the edge of the lawn, barking and bouncing stiff legged on her front legs. I called her off, thinking it was just somebody walking their dog on the road, but then followed her stare, and there he was, a good sized Black Bear loping along in that rocking horse gait they use when traveling. I told Sloane: No! Leave it!; the bear stopped, looked at us, and then continued along his way. Probably a boar looking for a date ;) . I suppose I should mention that I live in the woods :) .

Heck, I live three blocks from main street and they've been in my yard. :)

Yeah, it's not hard to see a Black Bear these days. I thought the combination of beer choice and bear was kinda fitting, though. I live in a location that is sort of a funnel between lakes, with large blocks of County forest both to the north and South, so bears pass through here regularly. I'm glad the Lab didn't want to fetch it for me. I'm in NW Wisconsin, about 55 miles South of Lake Superior.

I am sitting and enjoying a nice glass of Redemption Rye Whiskey. I first discovered it on a trip to Denver a few years ago. I found it locally and keep it on hand always. I really like it. I'm raising a glass tonight to all members. Here's to us.

Is it okay to raise a glass of straight lemonade this evening? Thinks it is still a thirsty adult's drink.
It's been hot & humid in our region lately, and that simply sounded refreshing.

Cheers boys! (And girls of course). I worked until 8:00 tonight, but tilted a couple of glasses of Valpolicella Ripasso along with my chicken cacciatore. Tried to watch a new duster “Big Kill” but it was so badly done I gave up after about 25 minutes.

With the torrential rain decided Friday night comes early. My Friday evening beverage...

This evening, torrential flash flood type rains. Raining so hard visibility is about 80 yds and the K6 gutters on the house can't keep up.
Watch out Mistered, Wingnut, headed your way.
