our Henry Orange Towels arrived today and yes, Evan the check really is in the mail ..

.. the pink towels will go to my wife and our 2 granddaughters for their range bags .... the orange towels go to our oldest grandson, 2 sons and me for our range bags

Just thought I would join the party, adding a couple pics of my own. Not the best, but the best I can do for now.

First up is my Springfield Match 45... built for the PPC competitions... a winner.

The PPC bull barrel 38, shot better than I could so I never had to worry I would have to move to a better gun.

Both guns were built by the Sergeant in charge of Firearms training for a sister department, known for building winning guns for all manner of competition. He got to be in such demand that his waiting list was two years. NO assistants. If his name was on the gun, HE built it from the blank to the first shot down range. Unfortunately he passed a couple years ago. I have a couple other guns he "tuned" and they aren't going anywhere either.

I will try and get better pictures OUTSIDE in the next couple days. I hope to shoot the Match 45 really soon and I'll definitely take some then.

As good as can be expected. My mother's best friend and partner (since my father's passing 2.5 years ago) just passed yesterday. She is pretty heartbroken without Al...and it is hard to see her like this again. He was a very good man to her, and if someone might have been filling my fathers' shoes, he was a good candidate. She lost 2 good men, and things are tough right now.

Thank you, guys. It's rough to see my mom go through this again, and I'm having a few flashbacks to when my own father passed because they both passed very similarly and very quickly without expecting it.
