Williams peep worked like a champ
Foggy morning but did the trick at 90 yards...my first deer using anything besides a scoped rifle.it was fun!

Well, for my Henry I used the WGRS-336 intended for the Marlin 336.Which Williams model # specifically and where did you get it?
As I said before I flipped the windage slide around in the sight base and mounted the sight backwards so it did not hang over the receiver.
I swapped the brass bead for a Winchester .490 height blade - but I think I prefer the bead and I am going to change it back out.
I bought mine online for $39.95 from Midway I believe.

The front sight will have to be taller proportionally to the rear which will higher due to mounting on the receiver.
There are a couple sight height calculators on the internet (one on Brownell’s site) but I simply got lucky with the .490 off one of my Winchesters.
Actually I did a rough measurement comparing the difference between the barrel mounted buckhorn to the receiver sight height and figured the .490 would be pretty close - and it was. At my current 50 yard POI the elevation on the Williams is right at the ‘halfway’ mark on the ‘graduations’ on the side of the sight so I have room for a longer sight in but I doubt I’ll need it.
