Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Tonight was wipe down all the guns night, the shotguns, rifles and revolvers. I haven't done it for quite some time and I thought that I should get any fingerprints and dust off of them that may have accumulated over the past months. So, they all got wiped down with Rem Oil. And also, I opened a new bottle of Hoppes to clean one of my .22 revolvers that had never been cleaned since I was doing some hiking and plinking with it a few weeks ago. One thing that I have learned when using Hoppes is to put the top on the bottle in between applying it on the patches. More than once I have tipped over an open bottle of Hoppes. I also reorganized the bottom of the gun cabinet because the ammo and knives and gun cleaning products and other items down there were getting a little bit out of hand and mixed up. Now I can find things again. I also wiped off the revolver in the night stand. Now, for one glass of Absolut Pear Flavored Vodka.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
I had a good day, no service calls for work, slipped off to the range for an hour. Took two Daisy pellet guns. My 953 rifle with a new Bug Buster scope I needed to sight in. And my Avanti 747 pistol. I wanted to shoot them both a 10 meters and can't do it at home. Can't shoot outside...stupid local law considers a pellet gun a firearm. And I can only shoot at about twenty five feet in the garage.
I managed to get the bug buster dialed in pretty well shooting off hand will go back and bench it next time. The 747 is just incredible to shoot.
I teach yoga on Tuesday evenings and went in early to take a class before mine. It did me some good, wish I could get in more classes. Taught my class to twelve students it is a basics class for beginners. I have some regulars who keep coming back, I have told them they are beyond beginners but they apparently like what I teach. Four of this evenings class had never been in a class. I love teaching and look forward to retirement so I can teach more classes.
Enjoying a glass of red wine can't remember the brand or vintage. Don't want to get up to look at the bottle. It was in the discount clearance basket and is pretty good.

Having a Budweiser in my Schlitz glass tonight. I picked it up at a flea market a few years ago. Do they even make Schlitz anymore? I understand that Budweiser is going to have "America" printed on their cans this summer instead of "Budweiser." Right now I am watching the Yankees lose to the Royals.

I've been enjoying the Henry Orange lately; but decided tonight to go with "The Real Thing!"
Coke goes well with pretzels, especially while watching the Royals play ball!

wow speaking of pretzels, we bought a couple of big plastic tubs of them at Cabela's. Nice and salty and made with butter in them, man are they tasty! Do they sell them at your Cabela's stores too?PT7 wrote:I've been enjoying the Henry Orange lately; but decided tonight to go with "The Real Thing!"

Thanks, but I haven't been on a horse since 1969. Maybe it is just like riding a bicycle, you never forget?
