I don't have anyone in my family who is a gun nut I could give mine too . So all my Ca legals guns go to my ex-wife in Ca to sell and my girlfriend in Az get the non-legal Ca guns and all my reload stuff to sell . That is why I'm sell my guns for a fair price to a good home . Some have a very special spot in my heart I built a lot of them or won a lot of matches with them .Sir Henry wrote:I hear you on cost. I collect Henry rimfires because they are so affordable. Sure a lot cheaper than a 9422 or an39A. But then again I end up modifying mine and have two or three times what I paid for them. And if I ever so them I wouldn't get back even the original value. But I plan on dying with them.
Site seems to be working OK.

Re: Uberti
I know of a few of yours that went to a good home. They are ones I'll never sell. But I have a few dozen others that I'd like to part with.

I bought a Uberti "Silver Boy" .22 LR at Gander Mountain this morning. It was on sale for $374.99.
It comes with a three-screw scope mount for the drilled and tapped receiver.

Congratulations, I received the Gander Mountain flyer in my Sunday paper. We have one just a few miles down the road and I have bought several items there including ammo but no firearms. That rifle surely is a beauty! It is advertised in my flyer on sale for $374.99 and it says it was $499.99. Chrome-plated alloy frame.

You are correct. I went back and fixed the price. Tigger pull is very light

Re: Uberti
Resurrecting an old thread here; The LGS guy I bought my Cimarron SA revolver from e-mailed me today and has some 1860 Cimarron/Uberti Henry's coming at the end of January. 45 Colt. Converted to Canadian $ they are about $1000 - $1500 less than the HRA Original Henry. I may have a look at one when it comes in, that's a big difference in price ($1500 buys a lot of bullets). From photos I've seen the one thing I'm not crazy about is the wood. Maybe up close they are better. Seems like a plastic coating on the wood or something. Maybe can be stripped and oiled. Anyhow, the HRA one is sure a nice rifle but wow it's a lot of dough. We'll see.
What is the customer service like from Cimarron? Anyone know? I have the revolver but have not had any issues.

Re: Uberti
Wasn't always that way with Rugers, but, sadly, you'll have to go back to the 50s to get a Single Six that was done right. They've been boring them straight through for decades, now. Here's my 1958 Old Model and, yes, it is super accurate.Sir Henry wrote:American companies making .22LR single actions need to step up to the plate. The Uberti Cattleman cylinder has been reamed while the Ruger Single-Ten and been drilled straight through. This picture shows how the brass will not fit into the backside of the Uberti cylinder while the brass easily goes all the way in the Ruger.JEBar wrote:my major knock on Uberti comes from it being made overseas .... given a high quality made in the USA alternative is available, we choose to spend our money on an American made Henry
My Single-Ten is no where near as accurate as my Uberti.

Here's a little look inside the Uberti factory in Italy. This young lady is the world champ cowboy mounted shooter. I was surprised to see how much of the gun fitting is actually done by hand; good to know.

As the owner of an Uberti revolver, I was impressed (and pleased) by what I saw. Thanks for sharing the video.
