Temps in hi 80's this week. Very dry. Will be feeding hay by mid August this year by the looks of it. Grass is not growing and dried out. Tea in Henry mug.

Yesterday went past 95. Made it to 100.

Right now 68. Today high expected to be 93. Have a lot of smoke in the air coming from somewhere (Dufur, OR maybe. Long Hollow Fire).

Very foggy here this morning and 60 after a 2 inch rain last night ! More rain inl ast two days then we've had in last two months. High today only forecasted as 78. Be coolest since April. I'm really liking it.

56 here overnight. 59 now. Expect high to be cooler at 89. Done with tea. PGTips of course. Anyone else drink it? First order of business this morning is to make the rounds of the beaver dams. Water is starting to look high in the back behind the house.

Drought continues as we reached a high of 97* today. Repeat for Monday.

Ah, the Tuesday forecast is most welcome with thunderstorms predicted, chance of rain at 60%.
That higher % has not been forecasted in a very, very long time

After last weeks rains we had milder temps with the mornings and evenings very pleasant because of the low humidity. The temps and humidity have cranked back up though. Feels like a steam room out there. Tuesday through Thursday forecast shows good chances of rain followed by cooler temps

Just finished coffee and breakfast. Headed out to check cattle. Weatherman promising rain by noon. Hope he's right. 63 now with high to be 85. That'll be 10 degrees cooler than yesterday.

"Celebrating" this morning with my second Henry mug filled with double mocha.

Driving home late last evening, saw lightning flashes all around, and the temp dropped about ten degrees in 15 minutes. Right now my outdoor temp reading is a pleasant 71* --- very welcomed relief. Overnight I got a gentle rain, and the rain gauge measured 6/10" of much-needed water! A good reason to celebrate during this lengthy, yet on-going drought.

Morning all. It's a beautiful morning here. Clear and 73°. The forecast is for 96° with 53% chance of thunderstorms. Just a normal August day in the Piedmont. I think I'll sit here and enjoy my Lizianne White Label.

It's 68 and humid here in the Ozarks this morning. Had rain showers yesterday. More forecast for next several days with high temps staying down in the 80's. Welcome relief for sure. Coffee is brewing
