thanks, they both have to be for a long while to come .. .. the camper is an '06 and the truck is an '07 .... have put 130,000 miles on them and (hopefully) we will add to that next week if we are able to head from NC to Texas .... its a good truck but it is useless on snow .... 1000 ft lbs of torque to rear tires without much weight on them .... to get to the road I have to turn around in a field beside the house .... I doubt that I'd be able to do so right now

The storm in CT was just officially declared a Blizzard. I'm expecting 8-12" of snow today, with winds gusting to 60 mph and temps starting in the teens and falling to near zero overnight. We're all just hoping we don't lose power.

Hang in there CT I know RR will be there soon with a smile and a shovel to help you out.

it hasn't been above freezing in a few days in our area .... the main roads seem to be OK, secondary roads are treacherous .... schools closed again tomorrow .... low tonight of 16 (1 with windchill) .... ice and black ice will remain on secondary roads through the weekend

We have 35F for the weekend, that will help pack some of it down here. Snowblower had been getting a workout. Me too.

It's currently 0 f, going all the way to 1 f. We got about six inches of snow yesterday. I plugged the block heater in on the truck. We'll see if it makes a difference. That last few times it was really cold, it took a few cranks to start.

Coffee is brewing and will be in the NRA mug. I hope your day is good.

It's eleven degrees outside, and calm. No rain or snow in our forecast until Monday... then rain for three days. Since overnight temps will drop into the teens every night, could cause more problems than snow would if their guesses come true. Will run out today for a quick stock up. Out of coffee. Hot tea in the NRA life member mug this morning. That is usually our evening brew.

Low 30's and some freezing rain, maybe a little snow this weekend. Hopefully not much, the angle adjustment cable on my plow broke and new one won't be here 'til Monday. I can still use it but will have to get off the tractor to change the blade angle.

Six degrees out. Miss T fighting a terrible cold. Still haven't gotten coffee so a l large mug of tea at hand. (It is on the way via amazon.) More shop cleaning on the schedule before I start a new project. May do some leather work.

-26 up here this morning, calm wind, so no wind chill value to add to it. It's supposed to be the end of the arctic blast for a few days, though; it's forecast to be above freezing by Wednesday. It'll seem like a heat wave!

Three degrees, got down to one overnight. Had to have set records. Woo. Will likely venture out to wood storage and poke around for a slab or two and see about starting a new project or three now that Christmas stuff is done. Miss T has to deliver a kitten someone dumped on the property over the holidays. She's allergic, but couldn't let the little guy freeze. Finally found him a home. He has been a coop kitten til now.

On the way back, she'll stop and pick up fresh honey from a bee keeper.

Fresh honey sounds good. I just bought some maple syrup from one of the guys at work who makes it himself. We have had single digits for the last two days. -30 f windchills. Cross country skiing was an adventure yesterday. Going against the wind was "interesting". Going with it was fine.

10 f going to 20 f today. No wind and the sun is showing.

The temps went back down... it's now zero. That's just wrong.

It has been a beautiful day here so far. 28° F and frosty with clear blue sky. I love these sorts of days!
