Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
We've had a mild but wet day here. It started raining around 3am and at 7pm it's still coming down. It didn't stop me from going to the indoor range, though!

White Christmas on the way. A foot of snow this week coming. 'Bout time. Cold weather too. An Alberta cowpuncher shouldn't have to think about fires in December unless they are in the stove.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
It's a mild 37°, the rain has stopped, and the wind has gone to play somewhere else. All in all, it's not a bad day!
Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Going to be a mild day for mid December here in Kentucky. Supposed to reach 56.

Your posts on the weather almost matches our mountain weather. I think you are just a few hundred miles north of me. How far is Seattle from you?RanchRoper wrote:Winter storm warning issued for Tues and Wed. Couple of feet of snow on the way. Temps around 0F coming.

When I was a kid I remember the Oregon coast having a hurricane.Mistered wrote:60+ MPH wind in Bend yesterday and then a little snow overnight but not too bad today at 36 & sunny!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbus_ ... rm_of_1962The peak winds were felt as the storm passed close by on October 12. At Oregon's Cape Blanco, an anemometer that lost one of its cups registered wind gusts in excess of 145 miles per hour (233 km/h); some reports put the peak velocity at 179 miles per hour (288 km/h). The north Oregon coast Mt. Hebo radar station reported winds of 170 mph.6.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Periods of freezing rain today. 33f presently. I have my dough in the fridge, I'm going to make the last of my tortiere's this morning. I'll reheat them for the dinner tomorrow. I have gallons of Sunday sauce, balls and sausage on the stove cooking and Six custom pizza's waiting for tomorrow. The rest is in the fridge. I'm going to have another coffee and call it almost pie time.
I hope your holiday weekend goes well. Join me later in the lounge, I'll be ready for one later. We are hosting 25-30 people for Christmas Eve. I think I have all the details covered.
