Black coffee in the NRA mug. It's hovering around 32 and snowing lightly. It will likely raise by ten degrees.

It'm Monday. I hope it's a good one for all.

I've driven a semi in high winds. Or should I say I was in the cab when I parked it. Even if it doesn't blow you over it pushes you across several lanes. You need three lanes and no one else on the road. :o

Did you get any damage? How does the livestock cope with the winds?

No damage here. Our horses have galvanized steel shelters to get in or they can go down into a little valley out of the wind. We also have some thick bush that breaks the wind too. They'll stand behind the barn too so there's lots of places to get out of the wind. But out in the wide open areas....better hang on to something.

About 65° here early this morning. It'll warm up to the mid 70's by afternoon but the humidity is way down today!! I like the feel of that drier air!

subfreezing temps this morning where we are camped in Western Carolina under clear blue sky .... in short a beautiful day in the neighborhood .... didn't anticipate the temp dropping to where our water coming into the camper would freeze, so awaking to no water was the first (hopefully only) unpleasant surprise of the morning .... it only took a couple of minutes to take care of so once again back in the camper with a hot cup of coffee in a Luckenbach, TX mug .... life is good .. :D .. Happy Thanksgiving

The day starts out at 50..................and plummets to just below freezing shortly after dark later tonight. Another day that gets colder rather than warmer as the day progresses.

Coffee is in the Henry mug.

Off to work in a while. I hope everyone has a good day. Enjoy an adult (or any) beverage later and tell us what you did.

a cold front began moving through our area during this mornings local Christmas Parade .... you can't beat small town USA, light rain and cool temps didn't keep down the fun .... our grandkids really enjoyed the parade and came home with enough candy to keep a sugar high going for a good while .. ;) .. hot coffee with slices of cheese and summer sausage were most welcome when after we got home

Spent the day working horseback. 31F most of the day, windy at times. Hot coffee was good at the end of the day. Snowed a little at times, but not too bad. May get some range time ni tomorrow.

Cold (for here anyway, 45°, wet, and with a strong wind. I guess we've got a bit of winter going on here today in SE TX.
