Got home finally. Took a 9 hr tour up around Banff national park to get home a different route and avoid the wildfire. Long day.

I was in Elkford BC. Drove west to Cranbrook, north to Radium, through Kootenay Park (wilderness) come out the north end of the Park at Banff Alberta, then east to Calgary and then south to Pincher Creek. Snowing bad in the Park, but the rest of the trip was ok. Long drive but that was the only sure way to make it home. It rained heavy last night and the wildfire is under control now.

74° and 95% humidity here this morning. I'd say it's on the muggy side.

It is supposed to get to 74 here today. It should be fairly dry. I think the humidity is gone for now until spring.

I'm having coffee with "plain jane". I am using my new to me Corningware cornflower electric percolator. It makes percolating easy. I'm searching for the right amount of coffee to put in as the normal amount wasn't enough. I hope to have the coffee perfected next weekend.

I hope you all have a nice day. Tell us about it later here.

Dave I think you might be one of the few left with a percolator. Kcups and Mr Coffee has taken over the modern world. 74 and your not fishing? I was thinking about Dave last week when I was reeling in those big trout at Lake John in the High country. 70 here today hoping for an outdoor bike ride after I wash the wifes Jeep. Al

Les, we got your rain here today. Thumb cocker, those are good hours. I used to go to a place that opened at 0600. I'd get there around 0610 and wouldn't necessarily have been the first customer.

It's 70 here and going to go down to mid fifties soon.

I hope you all catch the Q&A on Facebook tonight with Mr. Imperato.

All wildfires are out for now. Very windy and dry though. Need rain or snow. Tea in Roy Rogers mug. Will get some saddle time this weekend.

Another sunny morning here but the forecast is for rain. I need to beat the rain picking up leaves first.

Another wildfire at the north end of the a7 Ranch where I used to work. Big by the sound of it on news. It's about 45 minutes north of us and going west to east right now. 60 mph winds again. Never seen a dry year like this.

It's warming back up here. Our fall temperatures this last week have been from lows in the upper 30's to lows in the 70's.
