I actually like sleeping in the cold. Tonight is going to be another cold night. The den, formal living room and part of the family room is laid. After that comes the dirty dusty sanding. And the final three days is staining and sealing. That is the worst part as I shouldn't even come in the house to pee.

You could park at Walmart. Then you can use their bathrooms.

I can use the bathrooms at home. Heck I could use my own bed but why waste a chance to sleep out in the cold? Temperatures were into the teens again last night.

Well I might have more time now that its the weekend and no one is in the house. Most of the wood is down and just needs sanding and finishing. Hey look for my Henry pump thread coming soon.

This picture was taken yesterday morning. Most of the room has been lain. Notice how far ahead he plans the strips. He doesn't have much waste.

All the flooring is installed and sanded. They put the first of three coats on it last night. It sure stinks. I'm posting this and going outside again. I sleep in the teardrop again last night with temps in the teens. I'll post pictures when I can stand to be in the house for more than five minutes.

SH, if you're looking at the flooring guy's waist, you've been sleeping in that cold camper for too long. :)

Sorry I don't bat both ways.

Second coat is on and another cold night in the teardrop. Today is the third and final coat so tonight will be the last night I have to sleep in the trailer. But I like it. Last night it got down to the low twenties and the thermometer read right at 32 degrees inside.

All the work has been completed and most of the smell is gone. Gone enough that I can stay in the house for more than 15 minutes. The furnace was barely blowing so I replaced the filter. Don't see how any air was going through it and the furnace couldn't heat the house above about 65 degrees. With the new filter I turned the heat up to 85 and it has no problem holding it there now. With the high heat and low humidity which has been between 10 and 16 during the curing time it dried and cured fast. Still not cured all the way but I can start to place things on the floor this morning as long as I don't move it while its on the floor. Its dark right now but when it gets lighter I'll take a few pictures.

Its good not to be homeless during the day.
