Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

With the winds we've had the last few days I can shoot around corners.Sir Henry wrote:Doesn't your Henry have a windage adjustment?RanchRoper wrote:Morning all, tea in a great big Christmas mug. Sunny day here and mild temps. If the 60mph wind settles down I might just get to the range.

Enjoying my second (or is it the 3rd) cup of double mocha out of my Henry mug this morning. Almost wish I didn't like it so much. This mostly cocoa drink does have those calories that tend to accumulate just above my belt buckle, and help keep it shiny!
KCMO weather is again doing its famous "shifts." After the sub-zero wind chills and ice storm/snowfall we had late last week, the weather has done a 180*. The last couple of days we have steadily been climbing warmer, and at the moment the temp is 42* with sunny sky. Heading into the weekend, Saturday it is predicted to turn rainy, and we will reach almost 60* (predicted) on Christmas Day! A white Christmas will not happen in our area this year; good news for all those who will travel, for sure!

Good morning everybody!
It's 47°, wet and windy. End of weather report.
I hope you all have a quiet day, but if you haven't finished your Christmas shopping yet, it will probably be a busy one. Oh well, just have a second cuppa and worry about the shops later!

A nice cup of coffee in the Star Trek mug. Day off today. Supposed to be sun and above freezing.
I'm going to take my mother to her beloved casino. Not my cup of tea, but she likes it.
Enjoy all.

Casinos are fun, if you win. Well, the buffet is my favorite part.
Mild today with highs in the mid 40"s. Traffic will be bad here today due to the last minute grocery and Christmas shoppers. I went out around noon yesterday and it was gridlock around the retail stores and restaurants. I only plan to go to the veterinarian today to pick up some heart worm prevention pills for the chihuahua. Have a nice day.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Casinos have the best buffets but I don't gamble so don't go there very often. But when I do it is usually because I went to Cabela's which is right next to the casino and its a 40 mile drive.

Above freezing for a few days to go. If Wife gets done shopping in time, we're going to the range!!
I don't know how long it'll take her to spend $50.00??? Sure don't take me long

I was up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep. I did some paperwork.
My husband took the turkeys to our Food Bank that we support year round.
It is cloudy out.
A bunch of pheasants have decided to winter in our back yard behind our water rights ditch. One of them is in a chokecherry area right now. We have various wild and natural plantings back there. Tons of wildlife from a to z as I have mentioned before in this 'bear corridor zone'.

Good morning everybody!
It's another very mild - 47° - morning here, but we are experiencing the tail end of a storm front so it is very wet and windy.
I hope you all have a good Christmas Eve!

I'm having coffee with plain jane this morning. Momma left for Massachusetts and it's me and the cats. It's above freezing so it's projects in the garage.
Enjoy your day.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Another cold snowy morning here, but it's Christmas Eve, so it looks pretty darn nice. Kettle is on for tea, and the wood stove is warming the house up. We keep the house cool at night for sleeping. Time to feed horses and morning chores. Have a good day all.

It's raining hard here this morning, which is really good for the trees, the well, the reservoirs, and my back. I'd much rather have puddles than drifts.

Big Blue sky and 25* here this am. On its way to 40* should be a good day for travel to the kids house for the annual Christmas eve get together. Hope you all have a great Christmas. Al

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
good morning all... it's been absolutely pouring down rain the last few days with some pretty good wind gusts. Had to re-stake some trees yesterday and clean up a bit but nothing too serious.
Hoping the sunshine we have right now will last throughout the day.
Enjoying the day off with a few cups of coffee and then FOOTBALL!
