I watched a little bit of the Seahawks v Cowboys last night. The typical first pre-season game with some spectacular plays but mostly boneheaded plays. I watched a rookie wide receiver drop a pass in hands, then two plays later made a difficult catch that he was able to convert to a first down and then a few plays later get whistled for lining up offsides. Talk about a roller coaster of emotions for him.

Somehow the Seahawks snatched a victory from the jaws of defeat. Whew, glad that one is over and hoping all the mistakes were just first game rust. QB Sam Darnold who went out with a hip injury early in the game is expected to be fine but will probably sit out the game this week.

Maye definitely made a bad decision making that dangerous pass when they had a sure field goal to send it to OT.

49rs looked good against the Rams.

Rams were a little arrogant in my opinion and only showed up the day before the game.

SF got there a week earlier to acclimate to the time zone and it showed.

Talk around here is the Rams are supposed to dominate the division this year. Not a very impressive start. Hehehehe……

Pack lost a game they should have won. Bad play calls and penalties throughout the game.

My brother runs a picks pool which includes 15 college games and all the Sunday/Monday NFL games. This previous weekend was the first week and my sister and I tied for the win. Tie breaker is the Monday night game, she chose KC and I chose Denver. Yep second place (no payout) again. I’m pretty good at getting close but no cigar.
