Sitting on the patio here at 6:00 and it’s already 62. Partly cloudy sky with thunder rumbles in the distance. We are under a red flag warming for wildfire and lightning isn’t going to help. A pretty big thunderstorm passed north of us a few hours ago. No reports of fires so far.🤞A bit cooler today with highs around 90, humidity in the teens and winds to 25 gusting to 35. Please no fire starts…

I’m planning on mowing the lawn this morning before it gets hot and that’s about all the firm plans for the day.

our "Muggy Meter" is pegged .... our temp at 9:30AM on Wednesday, July 8th is 78 with a RealFeel of 100 .... forecasted high 93 followed by an overnight low of 72 .... not a cloud in the sky but "thunderstorms this afternoon; storms can bring flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts" ... only thing on today's agenda is a meeting with an attorney who specializes in estate planning

More than an inch of rain yesterday but sunny this morning. It kind of reminds me of Vietnam here in the summer. Its either hot and dry or hot and wet.

56 and sunny this morning with temps heading to 90. We have had winds daily but no red flag warnings since Wednesday. Sadly another fire broke out yesterday in northern central Washington with more homes burned. Whew, we have a few more months of this ahead. Nothing but hot temps in the extended forecast with 90’s most every day next week. Sure could use a couple of rainy days.

I was sure today was Thursday until I checked my e-mail and saw it was Friday. Same with me though, every day's the same. Except Sunday, I have to remember to put the garbage can out on the road. And Tuesday during bowling season, that's my league bowling night.

I finished all the mowing and trimming yesterday afternoon and
then last evening the local community had a cruise night for old cars
and pickups. We sat at the end of the service road and blew the horn at
them as they drove by. I used to have a 74 Corvette and we would drive in
it, but the last time there were over 450 vehicles and it was no fun anymore.
