Yep, as those above have stated start simple. No need to buy stuff to increase the rate of loading at this time. Like everybody I started on a single stage press (RCBS JR for me). As my skills and knowledge increased I branched out a little bit. I have a Lee 4 hole turret press but it still loads one cartridge at a time unlike a progressive. I’ve also gone to an RCBS powder dispenser/scale that dispenses into a scale pan a pre-determined charge. It’s very accurate and does save time while dispensing. But these are items to think about in the future, for now stay with the beam scale and take your time. Oh, and enjoy yourself.

I saw that baffle on the RCBS site and was wondering. Now I know. It makes perfect sense! :P
Again, lots of info to read thru and comprehend. To be honest, I hate to be a bloody beginner. But, what gives? ;)

Orders I placed will arrive next week.
Press, RCBS JR2
Scale, Ohaus manual
Brass cases 100ct
Shell holder #20

My plan is to order the RCBS hand priming tool and get large pistol primer from my LGS.
From there, I am hoping to prime the first cases.
