28, clear and frosty. Should be a nice day with a high around 50. Big rains coming in tomorrow and again tomorrow night with maybe some wet snow Thursday morning. But a very nice 60 degree sunny Easter weekend is forecast. Hooray for the kids egg hunts and for the sunrise services and all the fun activities folks have planned.

Today I plan to dethatch the lawn. First I have to pick up the 100’s of pinecones that have dropped the last couple of days. :(

Barometer 30.28 in
A 20 percent chance of rain after 3pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 48.

but we made it. Now to get back to normal living again.

I set the thermostat to 62F because it’s usually 70 when the sun comes up. No sunshine today and it’s 28F outside. Little Girl isn’t leaving her electric blanket.

Now that’s a nice “welcome home” for you. :(

36 this morning with rain on the way. It’s late arriving and I’m seeing a beautiful filtered sunrise thru the trees. Maybe some wet non sticking snow tomorrow. Then 60+ for the weekend and into next week. Yipee!

My wife is a Motown fan and really enjoys Tina Turner plus she always enjoys musicals. There is an off Broadway musical about Tina’s life coming to Spokane in a couple of weeks so yesterday I bought tickets for it. These shows are in downtown Spokane and we enjoy getting there early for good parking plus going out to dinner within walking distance of the event. And the casino just across the border in Worley Idaho is hosting Grand Funk Railroad which is a band we both enjoy. The casino has RV spots so we are planning on taking the motorhome and spending the night there. That way the dogs can come along and I can enjoy a drink at the show. :D

Sir Henry, that’s one thick coating of ice. :o

40 and raining here. Had a light rain most of the day yesterday and a hard rain overnight, just as forecast. After today we should see some really nice weather with sunshine and temps around 60 increasing to 68 by Monday :D :D

I’m nearly done splitting my firewood for next season. I had a couple of dozen rounds so big in diameter that I had to split them vertically. Some into quarters and some just in half. Now they are light enough for me to comfortably lift them up to the splitter.

76 under a partly cloudy sky at noon on Thursday, April 2nd .... forecasted high 84 followed by an overnight low of 61 .... sadly, no rain mentioned between now and Sunday morning .... just returned from a drive over to a place where I like to buy cheese .... doing so put about 40 miles on our truck .... it now has just under 800 miles left to go before we take it back to the dealership for its first major service along with a tire rotation .... need to have that taken care of prior to the first week in June .... next up today picking up our 10 year old grandson after school and taking him to a special tutoring session
