Crazy for sure.

Here it’s 44 again this morning with pink skies to the east suggesting some sunshine pending. We have a weather warning for high winds predicted to be 20 - 30 sustained with gusts to 50. Not good at all. The ground is thawed and saturated and this could cause trees uprooting.

I’m helping my son move some stuff from a storage unit south of Spokane to another unit north of Spokane. We’ll be gone for 3-4 hours and if the power goes out my wife won’t be happy about that. We have a back up generator but it’s a manual set up not a wonderful auto genny. She isn’t able to get it going and could be sitting without power while I’m gone.

Lakeville, MN,
Mostly Cloudy, 43°F, Humidity 71%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 29.66 in
A chance of sprinkles before 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 61.
Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Casa Grande, AZ
Clear, 48°F, Humidity 26%
Wind Speed N 0 MPH
Barometer 29.98 in
Sunny, with a high near 85.
East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Using our camera system I cannot find any snow at home. This is unusual this time
of year and I expect Winter to return yet again. In years past on our way home around
the first of April we have run into campgrounds snowed in and closed along the way.

We too have a return to winter but considerably less. Currently 30 with a high of 40 and overcast. Some non accumulating snow this week and staying consistent with the lows and highs to today. Yesterday’s winds did gust to 55 but all is good here by the house. The dogs and I took a hike yesterday afternoon to the bottom of the property and at that time no issues there either.

Brrrr, who turned on the winter switch again? :(

26 and sunny out there. High later of 42. Tonight starts a few days of wet snow and/or cold rain. And windy again overnight on Wednesday. Not a pleasant week at all. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day that looked wonderful from the inside. Took the dogs for a hike and with the wind I froze my butt off. Later today the dogs and I will go look for it.

My wife has her first eye cataract surgery later this morning so that’s the highlight of today.
