One of my goals this year to get some good in flight duck shots.
Love 6908; crisp, clear, bright, sharp in motion. Beautiful.

Time to update the Subject of the thread to Clovis' 2026 Images. ;)

Yeah, I started a 2026 thread, and then blindly posted this to the old thread. I thought about trying to have it moved, but it really isn't that important. I will try and remember next time.

I'm surprised the in flight picture was sharp. I was walking back toward the parking lot when a pair of woodies spooked and flew off. I just had time to throw the camera to my eye and hit the shutter. I had been walking around with a minimum of 1/2000 sec shutter speed. I forgot to change back to that and only had 1/1000. I was surprised it came out this sharp. The Z8 did a good job of locking focus and tracking. No way my old camera would have. The AF speed of the new lens probably helped as well.
There is, I think, humor here which does not translate well from English to sanity. - Sanya

The head on the Eagle in flight above looks just like the Seattle Seahawks logo. Awesome.
