31 and overcast here heading to the mid to upper 30’s depending if we get a sun break or two. Colder more seasonal temps for the next week with some possibility of some snow here and there. No promises of a white Christmas. But we are looking at a strong possibility of mountain snow we need desperately. More wind today but nothing like we have experienced earlier this week.

Not much on tap today other than maybe going to downtown Spokane again. My wife bought a new Apple laptop and they are having issues transferring the data from her old one. Hopefully they will get it figured out today.

The temperature isn’t too bad at 18F. It’s the 19 mph wind with gusts up to 40 that is freezing me. Hope I don’t get drifted in as I have the hang coming for the Packer/Bear game.

52 at 1PM .... out temp is forecasted to rise another couple of degrees this afternoon before dropping back to an overnight low of 31 .... looking up, not a cloud to be seen in any direction .... first thing up this morning was to off a load of trash .... after that, removed an empty 40 lb tank from our camper and had it filled .... now settled in to watch college football playoff games .... tomorrow morning we are scheduled to leave early and drive just under 300 miles east to Great Smoky Mountains near Asheville .... this up and back in one day, mostly over I-40, cruise will be our first for our Chevy 2500 pickup ..... I'm looking forward to finding out how her interstate gas mileage will stack up

Whenever I hear the town of Asheville I think of the movie Thunder Road with Robert Mitchum.
