A great big tip of the glass to Daytime Dave for all the hard work getting the site issues resolved. And to BigAl and Mags for their helping me with exploring a VPN work around. Thankfully I didn’t need it as I’m logging on normally.

Enjoyed a few Buffalo Trace’s on Thanksgiving so here’s a belated toast to you all.

A heck of a day. We got about 8 inches of snow last night so after church I shuffled out to the barn to get the old Bronco snow plow out. That thing has been reliable for me since 1983, but today she would not fire. Turned over fine, but no put put. Darn! Maybe I should put a bullet in her and be done with it.

Anyway, I have this Kubota diesel with a bucket and blade, except the hydraulics are frozen. Joystick won't move. Well, I'm a patient kinda guy so I just let it idle for half an hour and it finally loosened up. Now a tractor and loader just won't keep with a full sized plow so I spent over twice as long getting it all done and it's not nearly as nice a job as the plow does, but..................It's done.

Anyway, to the point, it's 21 degrees outside and the cab on the tractor was so warm I was in shirt sleeves, and now I'm in, planning to build a fire in the fire place, and I have a nice bottle of ice water with a Marker's Mark chaser.

Last night I enjoyed a few Bulleit Bourbons. We watched a very dull movie called Train Dreams. Fun only because it was filmed here in Eastern Washington and some shots in Spokane. Super dull for sure, glad I had Bulleit to help.
