Ruger Super Wrangler,

Post by graywolf » Tue Dec 02, 2025 11:32 am

Got this around the first of last month. After turning windage screw the wrong direction, finally got it pretty close. I think this was 12 rounds at 10 yards.

Super Wrangler, super group. Nice target.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can't do anymore with regret, I just look forward to the things I still can.

I'm liking it. I was shooting fed auto match. I was planning to see how close it was, then switch to cci mini mags or blazer. But after going wrong way adjusting, I kept shooting the auto match. I'm better with it at 10-15 yards than I am with my LCP ll .22 at 7 yards.

Mine, not a Super, liked CCI mini mags and the Federal American Eagle equally. I tried several others and these two were much better. Didn’t try Automatch tho

Mine is a look-alike. A Heritage Arms Rough Rider. I bought a bulk box of Automatch a long time ago. Still have most of it. I don't have a use for it. Accuracy in my .22 Rossi rifle was horrible. Since then I've stuck with CCI Mini-Mag.

We getting some much needed rain now. Looking like rain until least Saturday. When it's over and warms up some, gonna shoot some mini mags and blazers to see how they do. I've been shooting cci mini mags and cci sv more and more lately. The only gun that's picky with Automatch is my LCP ll .22
