Still hanging in there at 157 at age 71. Can't keep any kind of treats visible in the house as a sneaky mouse will eat them all including my sandwich cheese in the fridge! Just a beer or two in the late afternoon to settle me down.

We had a mouse once that loved cough drops. There was a gap around the range hood chimney and he/she could get into the cabinet above the hood from that gap.
