Might hit the unloading bench today if time allows up at the property.

Just came up from the reloading room. Sized and trimmed a bunch of 38-55 winchester brass. I decided to put the Henry to some use also so I ordered 100 bullets to try from SNS casting. They are poly coated and sized .377 which is what I need in the Henry. I will load some up with some of the same loads that the Marlin liked and see what I get.

Got the 38-55 bullets from SNS today. I like the way they look and they are very well done. Just put together some test loads using some of the load data from the Marlin results. Hopefully we will have some success. The Henry only has iron sights on it so I dont expect the groups to be as tight. I havent decided what to put on the Henry yet.

are those 255's?

I swaged a couple of pounds of 170.2 grain cores for my 240 grain .375 bullets. I'll swage all these up into 240 grain P4FPs.

After this, I plan to swage up some 185-grain cores for 255-grain bullets. These are P4S spire points. I'll have to trim them down with an end mill cutter so I can run them in the magazine tube. I expect their final weight to be around 250grns.

I'm hoping to pick up a P4SFP pointform die from RCE.

Well, I did 50 more 45's with 8.5 grs. of Unique, then the rest of the primed brass got 6.5 grs. of Red dot over the 250gr pills, 62. So all total with yesterday is 262 rounds. While I had the Red dot out I loaded 10 444s with13.0 grs and topped them with some 270gr cast to try.

After lunch going to help the wife hang some pics. Then I'm going to stuff some 357's with 7.0 grs. of Unique and some 162gr fn.

My guess is that the site got migrated over from an earlier point in time. All my posts from this morning are missing.

I decided since Im going to Texas USA earlier than originally planned to take the red dot off the Marlin 336 38-55 and move it to the Henry 38-55. I feel like the red dot will give me a better chance for testing the new SNS bullets. So I moved the site today. Im planning on getting out thursday or friday
