Just came up from the reloading room. Sized and trimmed a bunch of 38-55 winchester brass. I decided to put the Henry to some use also so I ordered 100 bullets to try from SNS casting. They are poly coated and sized .377 which is what I need in the Henry. I will load some up with some of the same loads that the Marlin liked and see what I get.

Got the 38-55 bullets from SNS today. I like the way they look and they are very well done. Just put together some test loads using some of the load data from the Marlin results. Hopefully we will have some success. The Henry only has iron sights on it so I dont expect the groups to be as tight. I havent decided what to put on the Henry yet.

are those 255's?

I swaged a couple of pounds of 170.2 grain cores for my 240 grain .375 bullets. I'll swage all these up into 240 grain P4FPs.

After this, I plan to swage up some 185-grain cores for 255-grain bullets. These are P4S spire points. I'll have to trim them down with an end mill cutter so I can run them in the magazine tube. I expect their final weight to be around 250grns.

I'm hoping to pick up a P4SFP pointform die from RCE.

Well, between this and that I did get a little bit loading done today.
100 45 Colt, 255gr rfn over 10.0 grs. of Unique, half with CCI & half with Win. primers. These are mainly for the Cowboy, it really likes those. ;) I will see how they do in the Rossi.
Then got 50 250gr rfn over 8.5 grs. of Unique.

loaded a few 240grn swaged 38-55s, 375 win 240grn skived and unskived swaged bullets using the last of my benchmark. I also loaded a heap of 150 and 170 grain 30-30 rounds using h322 and imr 4064 respectively.

Today I am working on loading 45 colt and 44 mag.

matts 285grn tcgc 45colt using cfep
nosler 250grn jhp using imr 4227,
nosler 300grn fp with imr 4227

I organized all of my reloads that were not in my safe or chests.

Image
Plus, I found 1200 357 sig, 400 40sw, about 500 357 mag, and 800 9mm that I had forgotten about.

This is the stuff that wouldnt fir in the safe... time to mosey down to the range. 80% of these are subsonic loads for suppressor use.

Nicely organized and labeled.
