Range day with the single shot.

Post by brianpa » Fri Sep 19, 2025 7:23 pm

Loaded up the 44 mag. and headed to the range with some home brew 300gr. Hornady hollow points backed by 18gr of H110.
shooting at 50yrds. started out a bit high but with a few adjustments got moved close. I am going to do another range session to check it with a cold barrel.

Now that's some great shooting and looks like a great load too. Henry got that .44 Mag rifle right!

Nice. I'd be happy with that one any day.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can't do anymore with regret, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Great results with a great rifle. Okay, maybe the shooter had some input as well.
