Beautiful Roper, looks like it could climb up the side of a tree. Sure like that color combo.

Just put a new skylite roof on the Jeep. Love it! Replaced the removable freedom panels.

Nice! I've never seen that option on a jeep before. Great addition to an already awesome Jeep.

Clever idea. Jeeps are like AR-15’s, lots of different ways to dress them up. Nicely done!

Very nice. I like that color as well. I still get the bug now and then, but it would still be to buy an old jeep to play with. Too late for me, the broken in my id isn't a joke. I couldn't do a lot of the work myself, like in the old days.

Love the look of the jeep, looks mean sitting still.

I’ve had to mess with it a fair bit to get the panel seated proper. Took some adjusting to get the wind noise to calm down. It’s good now. No leaks after car wash. We’ll see how it handles winter. Love having the natural light though. I liked taking the panels off but wind noise on highway was annoying after awhile.

This see through lid seems good.

I like that open view as well. We have a sun roof in the Frontier, but rarely open it. Here in Oklahoma the summer temps and the sun make that ill advised. When I had the pop out sunroof in the RX7 and was in NC, I would pop it out often in the summer. Easy in, easy out and it was nice.

What model RX7 did you have? I had a 1st gen (I think it was a '84 or '85) and a 2nd gen '87. The '87 was a 3 speed auto and it was pretty gutless, especially with the A/C on. The rotary engine was a good idea with it's small number of moving parts, there was a guy on the Rx7 email list that had close to 300k miles on his but, from what I see online even the RX8 rotarys still got poor MPG and still had the flooding issue. I got terrible mileage with my rotaries and never flooded them too badly but I found that if you started it and did not let it get up to full temp it was likely to be flooded the next time you went to start it.
