Re: Plink'&Grill'n
Afternoon/evening well got the grill firing up for som burgers and well I brought one of the BHs out.
Walked down on the patio and sat in one of the chairs.
Rangefinder says 45.7 yds. Two handed, put 4 out of 5 on the silhouette gong. First was slightly to the right.
210gr xtp's.

Re: Plink'&Grill'n
Never tried the olive oil trick, we just put a couple pieces of newspaper under it.
Have a small fan sitting out there and sometimes we'll turn it on and point it at it for a few mins.
I have no idea when the last time we bought any of the stink'n lighter fluid.

I bought a new Weber grill a few years ago that has a charcoal lighter that uses a 16oz propane bottle to light the coals. I too enjoy not using lighter fluid, the propane burns hot and clean and doesn’t have any order or taste. Add charcoal, run the burner for 4 minutes and presto, the charcoal is lit. Sure wish I could add to the plinking part of the conversion.

Re: Plink'&Grill'n
Well, we have a new episode P&G'n on this lovely Friday afternoon. Yardbird coming up shortly and ole Al inspired me to pull out the ole 38-55 Cowboy...
After starting the grill, I walked out to the picnic table and put three rounds on paper. Wee bit high at the 55yds we are.
Moved over to the old hog lot where the big gong is.
I'll be darned if it wasn't still high and after a couple misses I used the ole KY windage trick. Smacked the big one once on the right side and barely got the 10".
look closely at the left bolt.
