I did, in fact this appointment was originally scheduled for last week and postponed to today. Funny, several people I spoke to about Covid had the thought that it’s a thing of the past. I did too I guess. The lady at the dentist office I spoke with last week didn’t seem to concerned. I have tested negative two days in a row so I’m feeling pretty confident I’m no longer contagious.Mags wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 11:59 amGlad to read you are better. Don't be surprised if the Dentist office asks you if you have been exposed to COVID in the past 30 days. Might want to call them before you make the trip.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 9:58 am59 this morning with partly cloudy skies. High expected around 77 with partly cloudy skies and breezy. Then watch out, highs in the 90’s all next week. GO AWAY.
Good news, yesterday I tested negative for Covid but my wife still tested positive. Not suprised as she’s been one to two days behind me throughout this ordeal. I still feel congested in the chest and sinuses but so much better than a week ago. I still have lots of stuff from the yard sale to deal with and today I’m planning on loading up for the Goodwill. I have a dentist appt tomorrow and the Goodwill collection site is right across the street. It’s going to be great to get out in the community again.
This morning 56' and cloudy. Expected to stay cloudy all day. Maybe 71 later as well. Sun/Mon maybe in the 90's. After that in the 80's.
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

Leaving tomorrow on a road trip for Covington Washington. My sister lives there . Should be there Saturday evening after spending tomorrow night in Eden, Idaho. Got a 32 mile bike ride in this am. Ill probably be in the Evergreen state a little more than a week. I have a step daughter that lives in Naches, Wash also.
60 this morning with a partly cloudy sky. High of 75 later. The big 3 on 3 basketball tournament is in Spokane this weekend. Highs in Spokane are 80 tomorrow and 87 on Sunday. That’s out of town at the airport, downtown where the games will be played will be warmer by several degrees. It’s been as hot as 105 in years past and cold and rainy other years. This years weather is about a nice as we get for the tournament.

All tied up tonight after about a 10 hour ride to the east side of Twin Falls Idaho. Wind was terrible in Wyoming and lots of road construction west of Rawlins. Maybe the boys in Colorado could get a hint and fix the roads. Wyoming doesnt have any issue.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
56 and sunny with a bit of a breeze but nothing like the winds we have had this week. Local news comes on here in a few minutes but last I heard the high today should be in the upper 70’s for my area. A little warmer in downtown Spokane for the big 3 on 3 basketball event.
Loaded up the truck yesterday for a dump run first thing this morning. I hate going there on the weekend but the household hazardous waste collection area is only open on the weekend and I have some dirty motor oil and some pesticide I want to dispose of. After that I can remove the last of the stuff from the garage (mostly tables) and get back to normal around here.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
when we went outside this morning after breakfast, it actually felt better than it has in the last week or so ..... unfortunately, that feeling evaporated rather quickly .... 93 with a RealFeel of 104 at 3PM .... they say it will go up another degree to 94 (RealFeel 106) this afternoon before dropping back to 72 overnight .... they also say we should anticipate "a heavy thunderstorm late this afternoon; storms can bring flash flooding and damaging winds" .... a look at the weather radar shows a large system moving our way that appears to back up their warning .... much of my day has been spent moving vehicles so our yard can be mowed and in "supervising" one of our sons clean up his boat after a week's vacation spent on a lake in western NC .... while summer is definitely here, the forecast is still calling for our highs to drop into the mid to upper 80's for the last half of this week
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I just stopped at a local restaurant to pick up dinner and have a cold beer or two while waiting. As I was pulling up, it was about 4 police vehicles in the parking lot. I stay in a realitively a small town. So, it seemed like the whole police department responded. Come to find out that someone left a dog in a vehicle. From what I understand, the owner had been at the bar for a couple of hours. Due the the heat, the dog did not survive. So, it is a bit warm here as well (temperature of 83, heat index of 93). I have been trying to stay in cool.

I made it to Covington, Washintoin safe and sound. GFK that just completely sucks. The person who did that doesnt deserve to even own a pet. I could say more but I think you you know what I would say. Thats really sad.GFK wrote: ↑Sat Jun 28, 2025 7:08 pmI just stopped at a local restaurant to pick up dinner and have a cold beer or two while waiting. 79 with a RealFeel of 92 at 9AM .... forecasted low tonight 72 .... "Humid with variable cloudiness; a couple of afternoon showers and a thunderstorm" .... no plan for me to be out and about today .... yesterday a few tornadoes dropped down, thankfully none near us .... sure hope that will be true for today as well ....

I woke up at 5:30 this morning to three bright flashes and then the power went out
completely, but our Generac started up automatically and we are back in business.
I'm guessing this is a large power outage as the internet went out as well, so that
means our provider has no power. I'm using my phone's hot spot.
