79 with a RealFeel of 92 at 9AM where we are camped just off I-95 near Four Oaks, NC .... they say today's high will be 91 (RealFeel) of 96 before dropping back to an overnight low of 71 .... griddled bacon and pancakes for breakfast this morning .... we often fix bacon but seldom do pancakes .... I'm still searching for the best temp for fixing them on our griddle .... our camper has developed a drain problem with one of its kitchen sinks .... haven't decided if I'll try to find parts to fix it here or to wait and tackle it after we get home on Saturday .... we can still use the other sink so its an inconvenience but not a critical issue

59 and sunny this morning with a slight smell of smoke from a fire in south/central Washington down near the Columbia river that is the border between Washington and Oregon. High around 80 which is a nice break from the 90’s we have had recently. Cooler for the next couple of days.

Today is final preps for tomorrow’s yard sale. Plus my son is scheduled to be released from the hospital on Saturday and is coming here for recovery. Told him I can’t pick him up so he has to take the bus. No, his mom will pick him up and bring him here. The hospital is in downtown Spokane and I just read on another forum there is an anti-ICE protest planned for downtown Spokane on Saturday. That’s not good.

57 this morning, Just came in from a cup of coffee on the patio and it sure is pleasant out there. High today should be in the mid 70’s which should be comfortable for the big sale. After a couple of weeks of effort today it begins. Hope it’s not a bust.

Where does all this stuff come from?

It’s currently 49 degrees and the highs today will only be 60. Not only is it chilly the forecast shows rain for nine of the next ten days. Looks like I’m not going to be doing much work outside.
