I walked into the Corpus Christi gun club today to pay my winter dues. I looked up on the powder shelf and there set an 8lb jug of gold. Unique powder. I use it in my 20ga skeet loads. I have another jug here in Texas USA that has about 6lbs left in it. But now guess what another 8lber goes home with me. Top it all all with a 345.00 price tag on it. I sure do like Texas.
Good catch Al. I haven't seen any Unique around here for a long time.

I loaded a batch of .357's with cast 158's over a mild load of Power Pistol on my Dillon SDB. After getting tripped up in most of the booby traps the auto index could throw at me I'm actually starting to like the little beast. My vocabulary was somewhat polluted during the first few sessions though.
Polluted vocabulary happens more times than not anymore. I find that anytime I fool with an electronic device that it often goes south. Or deal with and Ins. Co. that will get real trashy

My shelf that holds all my T8 reloading heads fell off the wall yesterday. So, I have that repair going on today. I received 7lbs of 357 sig brass last night. So, I can prep that once my shelf is up.

Going to load up 25 .38 spl with MBC coated 158gr rnfp and 25 .45 acp with MBC 230gr coated RN. Both using Win 231 powder, which is "new' to me for handloading. Ought to work fine in those two.

Mail day!

17 Bullet molds in calibers I regularly load for. (save for the one 32 sw.) I got them all wiped down and cleaned up and in rust inhibitive paper.

Nice I do a little casting myself.
Last week I was gifted about 27, 28 lbs of some clean lead, and
then the sil was at his grandfather's last week and brought me 380 lbs.
That I gave him .50 cents a lb for. It was all wheel weight lead that he had smelted and cleaned up.
He was big into fishing, but these will be turned into something that'll go a little faster and farther. ;)

I just loaded some 163gr 357 bullets into 35 Rem. cases, gonna see if the grandson wants to try out.
Going to get him shortly.

Went to a gun show today. I saw #11 percussion caps for 25.00 a tin. Thats just Hwy robbery. I cant believe people in shooting sports would have enough balls to charge that much. I alos sa Rossi leveguns so far overpriced I hope the eat them for what they are asking.

I hear ya , Al. I added a couple hundred back a few months ago,
at WW they were five+ dollars per 100.
One of the gun shops that visit that sells loading supplies usually has some in stock at around $10 per tin.
