All my target shooting is done with an oil skin coat rolled up for a rest. The factory loads shot on the same day were a bit high and left the black square was the point of aim

I am lucky to have some very accurate rifles in my collection, another is a BSA Hunter .222 Rem with Leopold 4x M8 scope.

I buy every clean M8 fixed power scope I find. Has to meet my inspection of tube condition and lenses have to be free of scratches. I usually stop at buying them at 16X. More powerful than 16X I don't care for as the more powerful ones make me feel dizzy. I have about eight 4X Leupolds in gloss finish and some of them are on my shelf waiting to go on a nice 22 or a lever rifle for deer season in the big woods. M8 6X and 12X are favorites of mine.
